Update: Patrick and Lauren Sánchez Whitesell expecting a daughter
Update: Just kidding — they did find out the sex. Lauren has revealed that she is having agirl, to be named Eleanor Patricia after her and Patrick’s mothers. They’ll be calling her Ella.
Lauren is due in late January/early February.
Originally posted July 4th: Agent Patrick Whitesell, 42, and his wife, former So You Think You Can Dance host and current Good Day LA guest host Lauren Sánchez Whitesell, 37, are expecting another baby. This will be the fourth child for the family — Patrick has a son from a previous relationship, Lauren has a son, Nikko, 6, from her relationship with KC Chiefs’ Tony Gonzalez, and together they have Evan, who turned a year old on June 22nd.
Lauren shares that she is 3 months along, and that she and Patrick will not be finding out the sex this time around, figuring that they already have three boys.
I’m very excited…Now that my stomach is showing [I can't hide it]. Last week I had the worst case of morning sickness and I was literally at the desk like [mimics someone about to be sick]. We’re not going to find out…it’s the one time — I have a stepson so we have three boys, and so it doesn’t matter. I mean I’d love a girl, but… [laughs]

I knew it! All last week on Good Day LA she was wearing empire waist dresses which clued me in on it. Congrats to them; now we’ll have to wait and see if she gets a girl.

Congrats to them, maybe it will be a little girl, but if not as long as the baby is healthy that’s what counts.

I’ve never understood why people reveal gender and names, that’s the best part when someone has a baby waiting to find out!!

That’s so sweet. A little girl would blend in perfectly after having three boys. I’m sure Lauren and Patrick are thrilled! I really like the name they chose for her. Congrats to them. Their unborn daughter will sure be beautiful when she arrives in the coming months.
