Liv Tyler leaving Manhattan for toddler son
Although she loves New York City, Liv Tyler, 30, recently admitted she needs to flee her long-time home to protect her son Milo William, 3 on December 14th, from swarming paparazzi near their Manhattan home.
I don’t want my son to grow up like this. I grew up in Maine and had a great sense of wide open spaces. I just don’t want to deal with this anymore.
Milo’s father is Liv’s Brit rocker husband, Royston Langdon.

I suppose it is one thing to stalk the celebrity, for publicity or just plain interest. But it is perverted to stalk the innocent child. European publications “blurr” out the face of the child to protect their privacy as they are only minors, afterall.

Good for her. It’ll be good for her son to have some sort of normal upbringing.

I had no idea that the paparazzi were swarming. Honestly, she doesn’t seem like that big of a draw for them and most of them stick to LA. But good for her for if she moves for her son.
Sarah’s note: They are bad in NYC if they know where you live. There was a video on TMZ in late October I think it was of how awful they were to Liv and with her telling them to get off her porch.

I remember that video. I think it was Brad Pitt that said he felt like he and his family have been run out of every city. I absolutely love all the photos but the techniques for taking them will soon have to have some restrictions.(ie long range lenses) It is just wrong to “feel run out of” a town (or city).

I heard she is looking to move to Brooklyn, like all the other NYC stars looking for privacy (Jenn Connelly/Paul Bettany, Maggie Gyllenhaal/Peter Sarsgaard, Michelle Williams, Keri Russell, Adrien Grenier…) What’s funny is that if they all start going to Brooklyn the paps will all just follow them there anyway!
