Rumor: Is J.J. Bratman Christina Aguilera’s name choice?
The gossips hounds over at The NY Post’s Page Six have been chatting with a ‘family insider’ of Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman’s about possible baby names, and share that one name is apparently standing out above all the rest. Rumor has it that,
Christina wants to name him Jackson Jake and call him J.J.
The songstress, 26, and her husband expect their son in early January.

so both former mickey mouse club girls would have babies named j.j. – britneys jayden james, christinas jackson jake..

I doubt it…. only because her & Britney are shown in the media to be these big rivals so of course Christina would name her son Jackson Jake similarly to Britneys Jayden James
Plus Jackson Jake doesn’t really flow – I’d expect a much classier sequence of names….
Jackson is a nice name though…. but I doubt it will be Jackson Jake or J.J.

If it’s JJ, I bet its Jordan Jake – I like Jackson Jake but I can’t see them naming him Jackson Bratman?

Wasn’t there a discussion here before though about them not naming the baby after dad because Jordan is a practicing Jew? Forgive me if I’m wrong, it’s a faint memory.

I highly doubt this is true. There seems to be a lot of false baby names reported these days. Most famously “Sutton Pierce”! The tabloids are just so impatient I think.

Pam, you’re right Jews don’t name children after living relatives. The tradition is to name children after deceased relatives as a way of honoring them.
Considering Jordan and Christina were married by a rabbi, I’m guessing he’s probably religious/cultural enough to follow this.

I have a feeling she would name the baby something with a J, so I guess we will see.

I’d say it’s a good bet that J&C will observe Jewish custom. But of course we’ll find out fairly soon either way. I remember hearing when Jayden James Federline was born the press reported they were going to call him J.J. I don’t really know what K&B call their son.

Whatever the first name, I hope they chose carefully, because, with “Brat Man” as a last name, the kids at school are going to have a blast with it!!!!
