Featured Review: dearjohnnies hospital gowns
At 35 weeks pregnant, I’m busy getting ready for my baby daughter’s birth. My dearjohnnies hospital gown is already packed.
Celeb moms like Jennifer Garner, Jennie Garth, Mariska Hargitay, Brooke Shields, Tori Spelling and Samantha Harris have all received their own dearjohnnies. Mariska wore hers for son August’s birth. Tori Spelling also mentioned dearjohnnies after talking about son Liam’s birth. Click here to read that post. Samantha Harris couldn’t wait to wear her gown and robe, when her daughter, Josselyn Sydney Hess, was born recently.

The gowns are adorable, but I’d warn new mothers to save them for after the baby comes and you’re ready for visitors–I went through 4-6 hospital gowns on the day my daughter was born, and I didn’t have an exceptionally horrid labor either. The pregnancy books don’t warn you enough about all the bodily fluids involved. Trust me, you won’t care what you’re wearing (or not wearing) in the very first picture. Save the pretty gown for a few hours later when you take your first shower (which will be the best shower of your whole life!).
