As a pregnant military wife myself with a husband who is deployed, all I can say is that this “help” for military families is in a lot of ways more annoying than uplifting. Our husbands are gone, but we are hardly helpless. It makes me feel like everyone thinks we are needy, which is sometimes hard to swallow…
