It has been a tough year for me as well. In February of this year I lost my brother and 3 year old nephew in a fire. We burried them on Valentine's Day. Then a couple of months later my grandfather also died. We burried him on what would have been my brother's 35th birthday. I think about them every day and can offer only this... the first year after someone close to you dies is the hardest. So many "firsts" (first holidays without them, their birthday passes, etc.).
