Sidney Poitier’s daughter Sydney joins cast of ‘Knight Rider’
Sydney Poitier, 34, daughter of actor Sidney Poitier, 80, has been awarded a top role in the television remake of Knight Rider. Sydney has appeared in television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy and Veronica Mars and now she will be appearing on-screen as FBI agent Carrie Ruvai in the remake of the hit ’80’s television show. She will be working alongside Justin Bruening, 28, who plays an estranged son forced to take over his father’s work as a modern day ‘knight,’ and of course, KITT, the talking automobile.
The two-hour movie pilot will air on television next year.
