Country singer Kellie Coffey expecting second child
Country singer Kellie Coffey, 36, and her husband Geoff are currently expecting their second child in the spring. The new baby will join brother Jackson, 2. Kellie writes on her MySpace page,
After trying for a while and having another miscarriage…I havewonderful news I want to share with all of you…I’m having anotherbaby! I am due in the Spring and we are so excited! Jackson is gonna bea big brother.
We feel so blessed and have much to be thankful for…
Kellie recently shared her struggle with infertility when she released her song "I Would Die For That."

This is such awesome news! My husband and I have struggled to have a baby for nearly 2 painful years. Never thought that I would have such a hard time, but you know you have to have some rain before the rainbow. And now we are adopting two little girls. One is 2 and the other is 16 months. Funny thing is everyone thinks that the older one looks exactly like me. My parents even confuse our pictures. They call her my mini me.
When I first heard Kelly Coffey’s song I thought that it had been written for me. Some days I couldn’t even want to get out of bed, especially when a sister of mine who is 4 years younger (I’m 26) announces that she is pregnant with #3 (her second one was born April 1st of this year and her third is due April 25th 2008) I always while being happy for my sister, I used to think why me.
Now we can’t be happier about the two newest members of our family!

Congrats to Kellie, Geoff, and Jackson. It is so wonderful she is able to have the family she so desperately wanted. I know the pain of miscarriage. All too well. We will be doing IVF soon and praying it works for us. All the best to Kellie and family.
