Joel Madden looks forward to dressing like baby

Moms and dads who are fans of the DMCA Collective line by Joel Madden and his twin brother Benji Madden can soon look forward to dressing their kids in the latest "music fueled fashion."  According to Joel, the baby he’s expecting with girlfriend Nicole Richie provided motivation for the company to move into the realm of children’s clothing.  Said Joel,

I was inspired to make baby clothes because I’m excited to share something I love with my kid. I think it would be really awesome for me and the baby to dress alike.

The items to be made available for kids include t-shirts and hoodies.  The baby — due in early January — will be the first for Nicole, 26, and Joel, 28.

With Joel saying that he wants to dress like a baby, it makes it seem like he is saying the baby will be a boy. That has been the rumor. Sometimes I wonder if they actually do know what sex the baby is and just want to keep it to themselves, which they have every right to do. I just have strong feeling that they know its a boy. I will be VERY surprised if its a girl.

Opps I meant dress LIKE the baby, not like A baby!

  3. SCHERRIEA Says:

if the baby is a girl, she will def. be a daddy’s girl!

  4. Annoyomus Says:

I really hope that they have a girl….Because otherwise hardly anybody is going to believe them about not knowing the sex beforehand.

That said, I believe that they geniuenely don’t know. In a recent interview with People magazine, Nicole stated that: “I like to know everything. If he (Joel) wasn’t at every doctor’s appointment, I probably would have found out by now just behind his back and not told him.”

If they really did know the sex and were just keeping it private, I highly doubt that she would have said that. I mean, she basically admitted that, if she had her way, she WOULD have found out the sex by now, but because Joel doesn’t want to know, she is respecting his wishes and not finding out.

Crystal their are celebrities that are surprised with the sex of the baby, but in my opinion nicole and joel know they are having a baby. This alone to me sounds like a boy, and last time he was on tyra’s show tyra goes what do you want and he said boy and looked so excited, I really feel they know the sex. I remember people saying christina was gonna be surprised, and than she herself recently confirmed it was a boy. A lot of the time celebrities may know the sex and name of baby ahead of time, but don’t wanna reveal it till they give birth, which sounds pretty normal to me.

  6. Pam Says:

I believe that they truly do not know the sex.

  7. patricia night Says:

    Pam, I agree with you
I really do believe they don’t know

  8. Cellen Says:

It seems like a lot of times people have a feeling, or what they feel is intuition, about what they’re having. And then they tend to refer to it with that pronoun. Sometimes they are right. Sometimes they are wrong. I’ve had friends act this way. It could just be that they feel like it’s going to be a boy, but still don’t know. Even if they do really know, who cares? It’s their right to tell the public or not. They don’t owe anyone anything.

  9. Janet Says:

i totally agree with the fashion sense of children’s clothing. I really appreciate you.
