I absolutely love Celebrity Baby Blog.  I found you I think justa few months after you started and I believe after Anya was born.  Iwas pregnant with my second and was very baby crazy.  I wanted to findout which celebrities had given birth naturally like me (I deliveredboth of mine at a birthing center separate from a hospital).  I did thegoogle search and you guys came up – I have been a several times a dayvisitor ever since.

Adoption has become a very important cause for Hollywood’s elite, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Mary-Louise Parker, Sheryl Crow and Lauren Hollyare among the celebs who have adopted children in their families. Andwhat better way to draw attention to the cause and raise somemuch-needed money then to throw a fundraiser complete with silentauction and great gift baskets!

On November 29th, Lauren Holly (an adoptive mom of 3), together with Hot Moms Club and Sirens Society, hosted Still Thankful, Still Giving, a fundraising event, to promote adoption awareness and raise money for the orphanage Casa Hogar Sion inTijuana, Mexico. Proceeds also went towards sending Jr. Sirens on a field trip to get hands on experience atvolunteering at the orphanage, while seeing the positive impact theycan make in the world.

Among the celebrities in attendance were Ricki Lake, Meredith Brooks and her son, and Hunter Tylo and her girls. This was the first event Hunter had attended since the death of her son.

The party had tons of fun for little ones, including a Cookie Magazine-hosted ‘Pajama Room’ for the kids with crafts, shirt decorating, anda rock star photo shoot. Kids also enjoyed a treasure chest of toys,that included Zoobies and OnlyHearts dolls. Meredith Brooks was notonly in attendance but also performed songs from her children’s album, ‘If I Could Be…’  Ariel ‘The Feng Shui Guy’  hosted a relaxing Zen Zone for the adults(RickiLake asked how she use feng shui in her son’s room).  Singer-songwriters Alex Woodard and Coffey performed.

A silent auction with over 100 amazing items (Million Dollar Babydonated an entire baby nursery) raised over$10,000 being raised for the orphanage.
