Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman and Editors’ Tom Smith expecting first child
Edith Bowman, the 32-year-old host of the afternoon show on Britain’s Radio 1, has announced that she is pregnant with her first child. The baby will also be the first for Edith’s boyfriend Tom Smith, lead singer for the indie band The Editors. Said Edith,
We are both absolutely delighted. This is the best Christmas present we could have wished for. And to say our parents are excited is an understatement.
The couple live in London and have been dating for two years; Edith is due in June 2008.
