Melissa Joan Hart shares great news for the family, says baby ‘kicking like a maniac’
Actress Melissa Joan Hart, 31, and her husband Mark Wilkerson are parents to son Mason Walter, 23 months, and have baby #2 on the way the first week of March (yes, they know the sex, no they aren’t sharing yet). Melissa’s latest project, Holiday in Handcuffs, aired earlier this month — on her MySpace, Melissa blogs about this and other great news for the family.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! We are having a fantastic end of 2007 in the Wilkerson/Hart house. My Christmas movie ‘Holiday in Handcuffs‘ blew out ratings all around thanks to all of your support! Maybe now the networks will get behind me to have a new show soon.
In Mark’s big news, he was nominated for a Grammy for the song he wrote for Daughtry, ‘Its Not Over.’ So exciting. His new album ‘Damaged’ will be released Jan 29th and his single ‘Anger Cage’ is moving up the charts. We just got invited to celebrate New Years in Times Square. I will be announcing Mark’s band Course of Nature on stage at the Fox special so be sure to watch my hot hubby rock out a few of his new tunes.
In baby news, Mason is talking like crazy, just like his mom. And the new babe is kicking like a maniac and may actually be more active than Mason was (if that’s possible).Thanks to all of you for your support in 2007 and I hope I have the opportunity to entertain you more in 2008.

I didn’t know Mark had a writing part in the song “It’s Not Over”. Nice. What else is nice is that photo. Looking at Mark now, I can see that Mason does resemble him a little more as he gets older.
But I think he has his mother’s smile.

Mason is so cute, he looks just like mark IMO. Can’t wait to hear what she is having.
