Congrats! I had forgotten that she was pregnant.

Why do celebrities wait so long to announce that they are pregnant? She announced in October and just had it 2 months later. Is it just me, or does that sound weird?
Sarah’s note: Teri hasn’t had anything to promote lately and isn’t really a paparazzi target. Maybe she just wanted to be private about it until it was way too obvious at 7 months, so she did an announcement.

Lisa- I agree with what Sarah said. I also want to point out that Christina Aguilera also waited awhile before confirming her pregnancy. In her case, she later said (in the Marie Claire issue that she posed nude in) that she wasn’t trying to keep her pregnancy a “big secret”. She simply didn’t feel like she owed it to anybody to talk about it. It is very possible that Teri felt the same way.
All of that said….I really don’t mean to start yet another vaginal vs. C-section debate….But I wonder why Teri had a C-section? Does anyone know if Griffin was born via C-section?

Personal reasons I guess. I dunno, it’s nice to hear but it’s not like I NEED to know, it’s not my business.

Why does it even matter when celebs announce they are pregnant? They are entitled to be private about something to personal. They don’t owe the public every detail of their lives 24/7!
I would have thought she told the people who really mattered in her life. You or I wouldn’t just start announcing it over the tannoy in Macy’s or Bloomingdale’s – telling people we didn’t know.
She can tell people whenever she likes and that goes for other celebs too.
If, as a culture, you are interested in their personal lives you should feel honored when they do share pictures or news; they don’t have an obligation to expose their children to the media or public.
