Update: Poppy Montgomery…still cookin’
Update: We spoke with Poppy’s rep again — the December 1st due date was completely incorrect. In June, Poppy had told an Australian show that she was due ‘close to the 19th,’ so that seems more likely.
Originally posted December 17th: Since we’ve been receiving some emails in regards to actors Poppy Montgomery and Adam Kaufman’s son, we spoke to Poppy’s rep Jennifer early this afternoon.
As of this morning, when Jennifer last talked to the Without A Trace star, the Montgomery-Kaufman co-production was taking his sweet time — Poppy is still pregnant!

It’s so funny to me that you posted this today, because I was watching the Without A Trace rerun on TNT this afternoon and I was wondering if she had had the baby yet!
Poor thing, she must be so uncomfortable! Hopefully she goes soon!

Wow, wasn’t she due on December 1st? Poor thing! I’m surprised her doctor would let her go that far past her due date!

Yeah, I’m Suprised Too… I Would Have THought They Would Have Induced Her By Now.

I’m sure we’ll hear a baby announcement soon…….

i would have thought Poppy would have been induced since she is past 42 weeks. i was thinking about Poppy this morning actually, as there is a wee girl at my work with the same name. She must be so uncomfortable. It’s no fun once you go past 40 weeks….Hopefully she’ll have the baby before Christmas!

To the commentors who mentioned that they are surprised she hasn’t been induced yet: I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Poppy fudged on her due date. A lot of celebs do that, so that, hopefully, they won’t end up with a bunch of paps following them to the hospital!

Oh, poor girl! Even if her due date really was closer to the 19th and not the 1st, she was ready to pop last month. She must be so miserable! My sister wasn’t due until January 4, but she was so miserable the doctor induced her on December 20. Although she didn’t need much inducement. Once they broke her water, she went from 1cm to 5cm in less than an hour.

Usually they say the due date is much later than it really is so as to catch the press off guard when the baby is born “a few weeks early”.
So it seems like someone got the plan backwards. They should have told everyone “January 1st”, not December.
Sarah’s note: Yeah, her rep said she had no idea where the December 1st date came from.

I’m sure by this week, we will hear an annoucement

I was just wondering if she has had her baby boy yet
maybe she will give birth in january instead

Ha! You know what I think. I think Poppy already had her baby and hasn’t publicized it yet! Getting us all confused with due dates and then having the baby when nobody notices!
Anyway, I wish her all the best!
