Lily Allen opens Harrods Winter Sale
Mom-to-be Lily Allen opens the Harrods Winter Sale today in London, England. The 22-year-old British singer and boyfriend, Ed Simons, 37, announced that they are expecting their first child, due in the summer, earlier this month.
She told US Magazine that her look for the new year will include "Maternity dresses — big ones!" and an avoidance of cigarettes — her previous vice. And just what does the singer think about being pregnant so far?
It’s fantastic! I’m loving everything.
Although she has been asked to design her own maternity line in addition to her current clothing line, Lily says,
I am not the right person. My demographic is young girls and I don’t think it would be suitable.
Lily does make a point of telling the reporter that she and Ed will not be raising their new baby in the United States.
No way. Women there are too high maintenance!

Correction Lily not all women in the U.S.

I’m American and proud of it but her statement doesn’t bother me at all. I do know a lot of high mantience women around here. Also, J-Lin your comment about posh spice is almost just like Lily’s comments

Lily actually told reporters that she WOULDNT be including maternity clothes in her new clothing range as she thought it would be quite inappropriate seeing as the majority of her fans/followers are young girls.
She looks very pretty and definately has ‘the glow’ already! Good luck Lily.

There are a lot of high maintenance women everywhere. I’m definitely not one of them.
