Shanna Moakler discusses fashion and how the family spent the holiday
Actress Shanna Moakler recently sat down with the girls and Pinks and Blues to discuss her family — kids Landon Asher, 4, and Alabama Luella, 2, with husband Travis Barker and Atiana Cecilia, 8 ½, with Oscar de la Hoya — and how they spent the holiday. The 32-year-old also talked about celebrating her youngest daughter’s birthday, fashion and food.

How was Christmas for your kids?
My kids and I spent a fun day at Disneyland and watched the holiday fireworks and parade! Then, of course, family flew in, and we made gumdrop trees and spent a warm, wonderful present-filled day at home!
Do you do anything to let little Alabama (born on December 24, 2005) celebrate Christmas and her birthday separately?
I celebrate Alabama’s birthday at “the half” (at 1 and 1/2 and 2 and 1/2) so she has her own special day and people aren’t burnt out from the holiday!
What are some of your favorite places to shop for your kids? How about for yourself?
I shop for the kids at the Gap! They grow so fast! I have 3 kids, so I’d spend a fortune otherwise! And I like the Gap Kids clothes. I also get some specialty pieces at Fred Segal or Kitson Kids. As for myself, I like to shop everywhere! Boutiques, mostly!
You recently decided to go vegetarian. What made you make that decision and what has been the hardest part?
My husband is a veggie and I always wanted to try it. Our first step was making our entire family go “organic.” I only wish we had done it sooner! I also read a book called Skinny Bitch, which opened my eyes to cruelty to animals, and that was it! It hasn’t been that hard for me… Los Angeles offers lots of great alternatives!

I love shanna, she is so pretty and seems sweet. I think being a veggie has helped her lose a lot of weight, she was never fat but I saw new pictures of her and she is really skinny now, but looks great. That’s cute that she celebrates Alabama birthday at the half point, it’s hard having a birthday around christmas. My friend is december 26th, and never liked it because of all the christmas hype her birthday wasn’t as great she said. That’s cute she dresses her kids from the gap and kitson they have cute clothes there, I’ve seen pictures of her shopping there too.

I LOVE Shanna… I think she is so real and down to earth, and she has adorable children. She just seems like a genuinely nice person!

Looks like shanna and travis broke up again, on her myspace it says divorced and he is off her top list. She will probably confirm they broke up again on her blog. Too bad they are a cute family, but it doesn’t seem to be working between the two of them.

i luv Shanna…..she may be unlucky in luv but her kids are adorable. i forgot Delahoya was her first child dad…..Wow….he did not even mention her on his HBO special when he fought maywheather. Hmmmm…..she is a cutie-pie. any-who…good luck Shanna!
