Katie Holmes talks about realizing what she’d been missing

Katie Holmes says that it wasn’t until she filmed Mad Money that she realized how much she appreciated having a family of her own.  At the Los Angeles premiere for the film last night, the 29-year-old said that having daughter Suri, 20-months, and husband Tom Cruise on set "was wonderful."

You think you love to do something and then you have the people you love there. It makes it a billion times better and you didn’t realize you were missing that before. It’s like ‘Oh my God, life can be this good.

Life’s also good these days for Tom’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman, who earlier this week confirmed that she and husband Keith Urban are expecting a child of their own.  The baby will be a new little brother or sister for 12-year-old Connor and 15-year-old Isabella Cruise – Tom’s kids with Nicole — with whom Katie is exceptionally close.  Of Nicole’s happy news, Katie said "I’m so happy for her" and "it’s wonderful."
