Update: Monica welcomes second son, Romelo Montez
Update: Monica writes in to Sandra Rose to announce the baby’s full name as Romelo Montez Hill. She says,
We are all doing very well and truly thank God for our new addition.
Originally posted January 9th: Songstress Monica, 27, and her fiancé Rodney Hill have welcomed a second son. The baby was born at 2:15 Tuesday afternoon in Atlanta, weighing in at 5 lbs, 6 oz, and 19 ½ inches long. He was about three weeks early — Monica’s due date was January 28th. The new baby does not yet have a first name, but his middle name is Montez, after Monica’s brother. He joins big brothers Rodney Ramone III, aka ‘Lil Rock’, 2 ½, and Ramone Malik, 12, Rodney’s child from a prior relationship.
The pregnancy was announced in July. In December, Monica talked about her pregnancy experience.
