"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Joshua Morrow on awaiting his third son: ‘There’s going to be a lot of penises in our house’

The Young and the RestlessJoshua Morrow and his wife Tobe recently announced that they are expecting a third son in April, joining big brothers Cooper, 5, and Crew James, 2 ½. The family recently sat down with Soap Opera Digest — here are the highlights.

On having three boys:
Isn’t it great?  There’s going to be a lot of penises in our house.  I’ll be able to have my own football team.

On previous comments that the couple wanted a third child so Tobe could have a daughter:

Sheand her mother have the best relationship in the world and she wantsthat so badly with her own daughter.  I wanted that for her, too, so Ifelt bad when we found out we were having another boy.

Tobe honest, she was slightly disappointed, but once the doctor tells youthat your son looks beautiful and healthy, then it’s all that’simportant.  She’s an awesome mother, so she’ll be all right.  We’regoing to have our third son and he’s going to be amazing, like ourother boys.

[We may have a fourth child.] Iswear to you three was going to be my max, but once we found out wewere having a boy, I said "We can try again!"  At that moment, timestood still as I jumped out of my body and went "Who just said that?!"

We haven’t had this one yet, so we’ll cross that bridge when we come toit.  You can never say never, right?

On names:

We do [have a name picked out].  The name was a big option when Crew was born.  So this guy was named the second I knew we were having a boy. [I don't want to share it, but it does begin with 'C'.] Got to keep the trend going!

Thats so cool, I remember when they were dating.

We had 3 girls and was bombarded with “when ya gonna have the boy?” It drove me nuts, because for me, all I wanted was healthy, I truly didn’t care the sex. But I had also suffered several miscarriages.

We did have another child in June, now all I here is “are ya done now since ya had a boy?”…

    I can’t win..lol

  2. FC Says:

I missed the announcement that they were expecting…and another boy! Cooper looks like a carbon copy of him! Both boys are adorable, and I can’t wait to see/hear about the next one to come!

  3. adriana Says:

At least he is honest about wanting a girl after 2 boys, but being happy as long as the baby is healthy. It’s true most people after having 2 boys or 2 girls would like a different sex, just to experience the difference, but in the end maybe you just weren’t meant to have a son or daughter and as long as the baby is healthy that’s what matters.

  4. Rachel-Jane Says:

Courtney I know what you mean! I don’t have kids, but I’m the oldest of 4, 3 girls then a boy. People used to always say to my mum “Oh you must be so happy now you’ve got a boy!” or “Were you keeping going til you got a boy?”. It used to annoy her so much. In fact her reaction was “But I don’t make boys!” when the midwife told her she had a son.

  5. Jaycee Says:

I was the last one for my mum and though she desperately wanted a girl, she’d convinced herself she was having a boy to prepare herself. Frankly, I think she was just ready to have a healthy baby. Even after I was out and they said I was a girl, she wouldn’t believe them until I was in her arms! My grandparents ran out and bought up every pink thing they could find.

  6. Kelly Says:

Congrats on them! I am a YNR addict. He plays a good role on there and looks very much like my own husband.

  7. Pam Says:

Ha, I love the penises comment. It’s also refreshing that they are honest about being disappointed at first. I think that’s a common reaction.
