Nicole Richie spotted at hospital, said to be giving birth
Update: Lionel and Brenda Richie have arrived and are among the family members there, including Joel’s twin Benji.
Originally posted 4:30 pm: x17 reports that Nicole Richie, 26, is now at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Us Weekly reports that Joel Madden, 28, was spotted in the delivery room waiting area, telling family, ‘She’s going to start pushing soon.’
Apparently she entered the hospital last evening through a secret entrance.

I don’t know why, but I think she’s having a girl. It’s just a feeling I get. I’m surprised she’s doing it the “natural” way. I always pictured her getting a c-section. Good luck to her… and Christina too.

I’m an avid reader of this site but for the past week I check it like every other hour to hear if there is any other news on Nicole and Christina Aguleria. I cannot wait to find out what each one has/names them and eventually see pictures.

I love how Nicole’s pregnancy transformed her.

I love it, both christina and nicole giving birth on the same day lol. I think nicole is having a boy, just like I always felt christina would have a boy. Can’t wait to hear both baby names and weight.

im slightly more interested in this story, only because they dont know the sex of the baby and i cant wait to find out.
i can see Joel with a girl and her being a real daddies girl. that probably means its a boy now i have said that!!

I think it’s going to be a boy weighing in at 7lbs 10oz. But a part of me hope’s it’s a girl bc Joel looks like the type of daddy that would have his fingers easily wrapped!

This is very exciting. It would be neat if both girls had their babies on the same day! I wish I would’ve given birth @ Cedars… those birthing suites are to die for! They’re very lucky girls:)

OMG! I am so excited…you would think I was having the baby! I cannot wait for both her and Christina to introduce their babies to the world. It does seem like its a boy vibe in the air, but I secretly want to see Nicole and Joel with a precious baby girl. It doesn’t matter though…boy or girl! I have been waiting for this, seems like forever. Congratulations Richie/Madden family and Aguilera/Bratman family!

If Nicole and Christina are having their babies on the same day, that’s cool, although I’m not entirely surprised since they seemed to be due at about the same time. We’ll see what the results are later tonight/tomorrow..or whenever (or if ever) they release press statements about the fact.

All right now, it is about time, it seems like Nicole has been preggers forever. Smile. Is it a boy, is it a girl, traditional name, or so different it is just plain cool????? Either way, I am glad her time has come and wish her and her family the best and many blessings. I am so proud of the woman she has blossomed into over the past year or so.

It’s like two members of my family are giving birth. I’m so impatient waiting to see which one(Nicole/Christina) gives birth first. The suspense is killing me, but we all know babies come when they want. Good luck to them both though.

It’s just like when Brooke and Katie went into labor at the same time and at Cedars too! This is all very exciting, I imagine we’ll hear all about names and such on Monday.

Like everyone else, that would be great if Nicole and Christina gave birth on the same day but we’ll all wait and see. How funny i’m at work and they’re playing a Lionel Richie song, perhaps because of the current event!!! HA! I can’t wait to hear the news!!

How will CBB know when the baby arrives..?
Are we waiting for their rep to make an announcement, or do you have an inside source? Or are we just hearing this through the grapevine?

The baby may already be born, who knows. We’ll just keep updating, and then put up the ‘official’ birth post when we hear.

this is so funny. I remember back when Christina got engaged,and Nicole engaged to DJ AM. showing off their rocks to eachother and smiling. And now they might be having babies at the same day,at the same hospital.
Only Nicole is having Joels baby,not DJ AMs…

Wow..January 11, 2008 must be a really special day since two very popular celebs are having their babies, just as it was on April 18, 2006 when Grier and Suri were born. I am hoping to hear some news soon! (though I don’t think we’ll hear anything till tomorrow). Can’t wait to hear if it’s a girl or boy. Dying to find out.
