Tara Wilson to be induced Wednesday, attends Boom Boom Room event with Chris Noth
Actor Chris Noth, 53, and girlfriend Tara Wilson attend the Boom Boom Room event in Century City, CA on Saturday, January 12th. Their son is due on January 22nd, but Chris and Tara told vendors that they are going in for an induction on Wednesday, January 16th. A CBB reader overheard Chris saying that the baby was measuring large and there was a problem with Tara’s placenta — sounds like we may have baby news sooner than we expected!

I hope her induction goes as well as my two did. I had no problems and they were quick. I know many women do not have good experiences with them. Oddly enough, both of my inductions were also on Wednesdays.

Awww…they both look so happy!

Get married, then have the baby.

They do look happy. I really don’t understand the induction though. Where I live (Netherlands) inductions are medical procedures which take place if necessary, not just when mom feels she wants to have the baby. Just give nature a chance to take it’s course!

I’m also from NL and don’t understand the inductions situation in the US either.
Can you always request this, even when there is no reason for it?
Here you will only be induced if you are 1-2 weeks passed your due date or of course with medical complications.

Many women decide to be induced because of schedule, or because they want their child to be born on a certain date (as long as the baby is fine to come out), or of course for medical reasons.
Imagine them having a boy who took after his daddy…jesus, I’d have to have a daughter quickly!

I was induced one week early because my husband is in the military and was being sent overseas the week after my due date. This way, we had two weeks together, with the baby, before he left.
And my induction was a very positive experience, as well. They broke my waters at 8:30am and DS was born (vaginally) at 11:34am.

I was at my local coffee shop (Peet’s on Sunset) and saw Tara and Chris there a few days ago. Chris was on the phone telling someone they were going to induce early because the baby was measuring big and there was a problem with her placenta. So I guess they are inducing for medical reasons.
