Update: Constance Zimmer welcomes Colette Zoe
Update: US Weekly is reporting that the couple have named their daughter Colette Zoe Lamoureaux. She was born Saturday, January 5th at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA, and weighed 8 lbs, 10 oz.
Originally posted January 15th: Actress Constance Zimmer, 37, and boyfriend Russ Lamoureaux are first time parents after welcoming a daughter. We have no details, but Constance was unable to attend the Boom Boom Room event over the weekend because she is ‘recovering slowly.’ We spoke to Constance’s rep, who had no information.
The couple had announced the pregnancy in August, and revealed the sex of the baby in September, sharing that they hadn’t even know she was expecting until she was halfway through her first trimester due to Constance’s issues with fibroids. Constance had been due in late December.

Congratulations to them! I was wondering about her, especially with her health complications. I am a little concerned with her saying she’s recovering slowly. I hope everything is alright.

I wonder why she hasn’t announced her daughter’s name, birth date, etc. yet, especially since she seemed to be very public with her pregnancy (revealing the pregnancy itself and the sex of the baby)?
I am especially confused that her rep said she had no information. I mean, you’d think Constance would have spoken to her rep about the baby’s birth by now.
Anyway, to be honest, this actually has me worried about Constance and her baby, especially since it’s been reported that Constance is “recovering slowly”. I also hope that the baby is okay. I’m actually a little worried that she may have been stillborn.
Sarah’s note: No, baby girl is definitely here — Constance sent her sister to pick up stuff at the Boom Boom Room for her. Sounds like it may have been a complicated delivery or some unforeseen circumstances, though, and she’s just not ready to go public. Or maybe all is well and they’re just staying private.

Yup, I think I’d be recovering slowly too if I had a baby that big! I LOVE the name.
