Bollywood actor Zayed Khan and wife Mallika welcome first child, a son
Bollywood actor Zayed Khan, 27, and his wife Mallika Khan, 27, welcomed their first child together. Son Zidaan Zayed Abbas Khan was born January 17 at 7:54 am, weighing in at 6 lbs, 1 oz, and was named after French footballer Zinedine Zidane.
We considered many names, but deep down I always wanted to name my son after Zidane, I am his great fan. It’s too early to decide who he looks like, but I think the baby is 50-50 Mallika and me. She’s given me the best gift so far. I cannot thank her enough.
He also expressed his joy over the birth of a son.
Oh my God! Have I become a father? I can’t believe it. I have never been so happy in my life. When I look at the baby, I cannot believe that he is a part of me!
Zayed plans on taking a break from his work schedule to be home with Mallika and Zidaan.
I heard it’s important to be with the baby in the initial stage. He should sense and feel my smell, touch and more importantly my love and bonding. [On being a young father:] Others can be parents to my son, I will play with him, he will be my best friend.
Zayed and Mallika were married in November 2005.

Congrats! I had no idea that they had a baby till now!! Guess I’m not hearing enough news from Bollywood these days. I’m a fan of Zayed Khan, and I’m happy to hear that his son arrived safe and sound. Bet baby Zidaan is cute and looks more like his papa =).

Zayed Khan is Half-Indian and Half-Iranian and his wife Mallika Khan is Half-English and Half-Indian.
I am 100% SURE that this baby IS incredibly beautiful :0)
Mallika was DROP DEAD GORGEOUS in her bridal lehenga!!
Zayed is now a brand-new papa and he will be an uncle too when Susanne(his sister) and Hrithik Roshan welcome their second child :0)
