Rumor: Lily-Rose, Jack Depp to attend British schools?
With properties situated around the globe, actor Johnny Depp is rumored to have chosen England as the place where his children — Lily-Rose, 8 ½, and Jack, 5 ½ — will obtain their education. According to a report in today’s Mail on Sunday, Johnny has enlisted the help of Countdown presenter Carol Vorderman in his efforts to find the best school possible; Carol lives close to the $2.5 million home Johnny and longtime partner Vanessa Paradis purchased near Bath, England last year. Said an unnamed source,
[Johnny and Carol] have met up a few times and their kids get along well. He is set on sending the children to British schools. Carol’s go to Clifton College in Bristol and Johnny may check it out.
Lily-Rose and Jack are Johnny’s children with Vanessa. Carol has two children, Katie and Cameron, with ex-husband Patrick King.

Mmmm something doesn’t sound right with this. Johnny is due to start working again in the US as is Vanessa. Seeing as they are never far from their children I find this yet another dubious story.

Not to nit pick, but Jack is still 5 1/2; he won’t turn 6 until his birthday in April.

Lily-Rose is already 8 1/2. Isn’t she going to school now? If not and she’s not being home schooled, that is pretty detrimental.

In France, kids go to school from age 3, and it’s manditory (sp?) at age 7. Maybe they are considering just changing education system. I don’t know much about them, but it would seem to be it. And since Lily Rose is still very young, the change won’t be too hard on them.

Just FYI, I googled the Clifton College that the article mentions and it takes students ages 13-18. Though there is a lower prep school for children 8 and older, seems like this should be taken with a grain of salt as checking out Clifton College for his kids might be jumping the gun just a bit.

i reALLY HOPE YOU DO FIND A REALLY GOOD SCHOOL I AM AT BRIGHOUSE HIGH IN BRIGHOUSE AAND IT Has helped me so much i found it hard in maths but they helped me. i also love to read. (my birthday is april the eigth am going to be 17)
