Sarah Jessica Parker praises Chris Noth as a father
Although he’s only been a father for a matter of days, Chris Noth — best known for his role as ‘Mr. Big’ on Sex and the City — and his abilities as a dad are getting a ‘big’ thumb’s up from Chris’ co-star Sarah Jessica Parker. Herself mom to 5 ½-year-old James, Sarah says that Chris, 53, is "going to make a wonderful, wonderful father."
I’m so thrilled for him…He’s found a lovely lady to have a child with. It’s the perfect time for him and I think he’s very ready.
Chris’ girlfriend Tara Wilson delivered their son Orion Christopher on Friday, Jan. 18. It is the first child for them both. James is Sarah’s child with husband Matthew Broderick.

I love that name so much. I wanted to name my DS Orion, but DH objected.
