CBB Exclusive: Violet Jean Leitch at TheFind.com’s photobooth at Sundance
TheFindGreen is sponsoring a photography booth at the Sundance film festival, and have great opportunities to take shots of celebrity favorites (and their children). Actor Donovan Leitch, 39, and model wife Kirsty Hume, 31, stopped by with their daughter Violet ‘Lilac’ Jean, 3 ½, who jumped into the window of the lounge and laughed as passers by took her photo. TheFind.com tells us that Lilac loved the attention and was giggling the whole time! Donovan and Kirsty are apparently incredibly eco-conscious, and recently redid their home to be completely eco-friendly. The couple were married in 1997.
Sarah’s note: As to her name, I spoke to Carissa from The Find. She says, ‘Sorry, we confirmed that her name is actually Violet. Apparently, they were calling her Lilac (go figure).’

Are you sure her name isn’t Violet? I’m sure I read about her in Vogue years ago, and she was the very first celebrity baby with that name.
Still, Lilac is also a very cute name …

Yep, her name is Violet Jean Leitch! And Donovan is 40 years old, not 39. I also thought they lived in Woodstock, NY at least some time of the year. I read it in a magazine called “Violet” where they put Kirsty and her little girl on the cover and had a huge article about the Leitch family inside.
Sarah’s note: Donovan turns 40 in August, from what I’ve read. I have no idea where they live…sorry.

i’ve seen articles with their daughter’s name being violet and others where her name is listed as lilac! which is it?

I’ve only heard about her name being Lilac. Never heard it being Violet. Both are pretty names though. She’s a cute girl; looks older than 3 1/2.

I remember when she was born they said it was Violet, but maybe they changed it. I like both names, and boy is she a cutie.

Check Getty Images! He celebrated his 40th birthday last August. Among the guests were his mother, his wife Kirsty Hume, Eric Dane, Matthew Perry etc.
And I am pretty sure her name is Violet. A friend of mine has known them for a long time (for real), and he was referring to her as ‘Violet’.

she’s so cute! love the hair & shoes. i wouldn’t be surprised if they call her by several “flower” names. my SIL’s last name is “suede” and people call her “velvet.”

I know kirsty, donovan and violet as i am family. They are a lovely kind family who ate extremely healthy and are very eco friendly.
At the moment they are living in los angles but have bought a house in woodstock. They are planning on keeping there house in l.a but moving into their house in Woodstock sometime next year. Donovan is wanting to keep both houses so he isn’t far from his family.
As I am family I will answer your question and confirm for you that her name is Violet Jean Leitch.

Violet Jean Hume Leitch is her full name. The family resides in Studio City, California, and offers their Woodstock residence to rent in the summer months.
