Jessica Alba says pregnancy has mellowed her out
In between battling hiccups, heartburn and the occasional bad dream, Jessica Alba has a new film to promote — The Eye. But making the press rounds — something that the 26-year-old actress says would typically create considerable chaos — is no big deal now that she’s expecting a child.
Being pregnant is kind of like a sedative. Everything’s just chill. I don’t get as anxious about things. Like right now, a movie coming out, you know over-analyzing everything. And now I’m just kind of like [shrugs]. I got something else going on.
The baby will be the first for Jessica and her fiance Cash Warren.

well i hope she’s at least excited for The Eye! i know i am
she seems to love going on interviews, especially when she’s on Leno. Not sure if shes doing his show this time but she is doing letterman and regis next week

“battling hiccups and heartburn” is that you speaking from experience or has she said she’s been battling? Just curious, no offense intended!
Can’t wait until she starts showing more, and of course to see how beautiful that baby is going to be.
Glad she’s finding pregnancy easy- that’s great!
Missy’s note: No offense taken! She says in the linked article that she has been experiencing both hiccups and heartburn, and that she actually ‘wakes up’ to hiccups each morning.

OK this struck me as funny because if you scroll down the page you see another interview where she says that pregnancy has made her much more emotional and hormonal. Here she is saying she’s more laid back?!

wow, waking up to hiccups every morning… that can’t be fun
I think she just meant she’s trying not to stress out about things now, she can control that. The crying/getting angry moments, well i don’t think thats under her control right now.

Hiccups, heartburn, bad dreams and feeling chilled out? Can’t believe someone has the EXACT combination of pregnancy symptoms I did. Yeah ok there may be more of you but I’ve never come across anyone else.
Anyway based on that I’m predicting she also has a boy.
