   Isn’t Arnold like over 6′ tall? I’m asking because I noticed that his 14 year old son is as tall as he is. Wow…

   does arnold speak german to his children? i’ve always wondered, because his accent is still so strong today that i’ve always assumed he must still speak a large amount of german at home for it to still be present…

   Yes, Arnold is 6′ 2″, I believe. In a photo posted not too long ago of him with one of his daughters, she was as tall as her dad, too. Maria is pretty tall, as well– almost 6′.

   While I see a little bit of both parents in the boys, it is amazing how different they look.

   My mother was Austrian and she had a pretty strong accent.

   i thought he spoke austrian? maybe german too? his sons are such perfect blends of him and maria!

   The accent doesn’t just go away if you speak the language more, it’s there unless you work on it with a coach (or you came to this country as a child). He speaks German to the kids but he and Maria speak English at home. Both boys are very handsome, the younger one looks like a Kennedy kid.

   kemp- Austrian isn’t a language, it’s a dialect of German.
   A couple of years back I saw an interview with him on German television where he said that he really only talks German with the kids when they are disobeying him. He gave the examples of turning the TV off or cleaning up the living room after playtime.
   The thought of Arnold standing in his living room and starting to count to ten while his kids get all flustered and collect their toys off the floor gets me smiling everytime I think of it.

   The youngest one is a Kennedy kid, they all are, Maria is one of JFK’s nieces, isn’t she?
   I was pretty sure she was either a daughter or granddaughter of Bobby’s, it might be one of the girls though, it’s hard to keep up with that family and their many members.

   Angela’s note: Maria is the daughter of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, JFK’s sister.

   I doubt that he speaks German daily because the last interview I saw with him speaking German was awful. You could hardly understand a thing.
   Cute “boys”!

    Patrick looks just like Arnold, and he is tall. Christopher looks like the kennedy’s, especially around the mouth and teeth.
