Former New York Rangers Brian Leetch with family at jersey retirement ceremony
Former New York Rangers defenseman Brian Leetch, 39, waves to the crowd holding his son Sean, 2, after his banner was raised to the rafters before the hockey game against the Atlanta Thrashers on January 24 at Madison Square Garden.
Brian is the fifth Ranger in history to have his number retired. Brian’s wife, Mary Beth, and his two older children, son Jack, 7, and daughter Riley Anne, 4, were in attendance as well for the presentation. Brian officially announced his retirement on May 24, 2007 ending his 18-year career in order to devote more time to his family. Brian savored his special moment with his family saying:
It’s such such a personal thing with your kids. He [Sean] was pointing at everything, at the No. 2 on the ice, at the No. 2 going up. I was so proud of my kids for getting through it and not causing a fuss.

Sean is wearing Umi Kids Badger in Black Pebbled ($66).

As a diehard Rangers fan i have to say that i have loved Leetchie a long time!
The Four Horsemen (him, Mike Richter, Mark Messier and Adam Graves) of 1994 will FINALLY be reunited next year when the team retires Gravys jersey.
Family comes first to every Ranger in history.
Thanks for showing this!

New York Rangers are looking forward to return to glory of the Stanley cup finals. For this aim they’ve brought new players such as Chris Drury and Scott Gomez.
In their early games of this season, the guys have proved that they have strength and ability to do well in this season. However, there’s a long way still waiting for them to reach their goal.
But day after day Rangers’ fans are increasing due to the remarkable improvement in their results.
If you’re one of those fans or you’ve just decided to be and you want their http://www.ticketsinventory.com/nhl/new-york-rangers-tickets/ ” rel=”nofollow”>Tickets. There’s an interesting website, which I use all the time, and really they have cheap tickets for Rangers’ games and more.
