Is there a reason why they always wear pink? Is it because they have two little girls. The family is gorgeous.
Kaisa’s note: It is a tradition of the Spanish Royal Family that the king and queen and the family of Prince Felipe dress in pink, Infanta Elena’s family wears blue and Infanta Cristina’s beige and white.

Such cute photos! I must confess, I wish Princess Leonor was wearing a helmet though. Its a good habit to start early.

Those girls are tooo cute!
Good thing they didn’t have a son, I can just imagine how a 13-year-old boy would love to wear pink all the time, lol.

OK, the color thing is really weird, but these little girls are adorable. I love Leonor’s hair. I like how normal they seem.

Leonor has to be the most beautiful little girl ever! Those blonde curls are too cute. She looks like such a little angel!

I agree with spanish girl regarding the colors. I have never read anything about ‘traditional’ color assignments for the King’s children nor has there been anything published about it, as far as I know. Look at their previous photos and you’ll see that the grandchildren have worn clothes of all colors, even on official portraits.
Besides, assigning colors to the families would be kind of ridiculous, isn’t it?

Actually, in the latest Xmas photo of the Royal Family, the children were wearing pink, blue, white & beige.
I think it is only during the Christmas photos that Leo and Sofi wear pink, Elena’s kids wear blue, and Cristina’s kids wear white. You can see it in the photos posted on this blog and the photos released by each of the Infantas, and the Prince and Princess of Asturias.
Anyway, Leo and Sofi are both very beautiful. Those are some good genes from Felipe and Letizia. Lol!
