Jessica Alba says she’s ready to slow down
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight to promote her new film The Eye, actress Jessica Alba reiterated earlier statements that the timing her first pregnancy couldn’t have been better.
I’ve always wanted to have children and its kind of perfect timing. It’s such a blessing. The best thing in the whole world.
Although her morning sickness is over, the need to continually eat — which often eases nausea for pregnant woman — lingers, Jessica says.
I normally don’t need to eat every few hours, in my life before being pregnant. And now it’s like the blood sugar hits the floor and I need to eat every few hours just to stay functioning.
The 26-year-old says she’s not worried about how motherhood will affect her career, and that she’s looking forward to slowing down the pace she’s been keeping.
I think just in this time in my life, whether having a baby [now] just happens to be the perfect time… I’m getting to a point where I don’t need to do as much and I can take my time a bit.
The baby, due in May or June, will be Jessica’s first with fiance Cash Warren. They know the sex but are keeping it private.

Hahahaha, its good that she is pregnant now, coz she had no career. I hope her parenting skills are better than her acting skills.

yeah, pregnant or not she needs to take a break! she had 6 movies coming out last year, i got tired just watching her promote everything lol
and she still has another movie coming out in june…. that should hold her fans up for a bit

Yea she has worked a lot lately, she can afford to take a few months or a year off lol.
