If you want your scrapbooks to last, you should not use regular rubber cement. It’s not archival and can do damage to the photos, make them fall off in time etc. See

Adorable! I’d love to see more of her pages and other celeb scrapbooks. The website is amazing, I’ve already created more pages tonight than I’ve done the first 2 years of my sons life. I have no creative confidence, so this is a way I can feel like I am making something beautiful and lasting that other people will actually want to look out. I am a “scrapbooking dropout” just like they talk about on the website…and not ashamed to admit it!

i’m not a mom but i do love scrapbooking. all you really need is a cute book, plain paper, rubber cement, and markers. it doesn’t have to be expensive at all! if you’re looking for cheap ways to brighten up the pages tear up old magazines, maps, and brochures and/or hit the dollar store (dollar tree carries a bunch of scrapbooking stuff now.) it can be time consuming if you attempt to do it all at once, but with a little bit of organization, knocking out one page every night would probably only take 15-20 minutes, then at the end of two or three weeks you have a brand new scrapbook!!!

I love doing scrapbooks, and I’m glad that Samantha did one for her little Josselyn. It really does bring great memories of when your baby was little, because they do grow up way fast! I even can’t believe that Josselyn is already four months!

I guess I am an old fashioned scrapbooker because I like to make my own pages with pictures rather than having them printed. I recommend investing in good 12×12 books with page protectors, great paper, and lots of fun stickers. You would be surprised how much you can liven up a page with well placed stickers. There are great online outlets for tons and tons of stickers
