Christina Aguilera’s first postpartum outing: Voting and Best Buy!
Songstress Christina Aguilera had a busy day! The 27-year-old new mama started the morning with her first postpartum interview, then did her civic duty — voting in California — and had a 7 pm Best Buy signing for her new DVD, Back to Basics: Live and Down Under ($15). Son Max Liron is 3 weeks old.

She loves that red lipstick!-She is a pretty girl, she really doesn’t need all that makeup! But whatever she looks great! Thin again already!
Just a question–can you breast feed with implants??
Sarah’s note: Yup, as long as they don’t sever your milk ducts. Pam Anderson, Brooke Burke, Tori Spelling and Gena Lee Nolin all nursed their kids (and Brooke will nurse the new baby). Sometimes there are supply issues and you need to supplement with formula, but I think that’s the most common roadblock. Christina does seem to be nursing, from the looks of it.

I agree about the makeup, but I still think she looks great. And I’m very happy to see that she doesn’t have a perfectly flat tummy like some celebs do after just giving birth.

Her boobs are huge, but yea breast milk and implants will make them like that lol. Her body looks good, but her makeup looks a bit too much. Glad to see her out and about again.

I have noticed that a lot of commentors on Christina posts like to mention how she has too much make-up on and how she’s such a pretty girl without it. However, I must ask, have we actually ever seen her without make-up? If not, then how do we know how pretty she is without it?
That said, thanks, Sarah, for explaining about bfing with implants and the fact that it is sometimes necessary to supplement with formula. On a recent Brooke Burke post, you mentioned, in reply to a comment, that you had asked her rep to confirm the baby registry she made at Petite Tressor or Bel Bambini (I can’t remember which). So, I went to Petite Tressor’s (or Bel Bambini’s) website and looked up the registry. I noticed that one of the things she registered for was a powdered formula dispenser, which made me wonder if she plans to breastfeed or not.
However, now that I read your comment, I realize that she is probably just planning to supplement with formula….Or perhaps that wasn’t even her registry (it’s certainly not uncommon for fake celeb registries to get posted!).
Anyway, sorry for getting so off-topic!
Sarah’s note: I just spoke to Brooke on the phone today for our upcoming interview, and she said she is planning to nurse the new baby, so yes, I assume the dispenser is perhaps because she’ll be supplementing or for times away when she hasn’t pumped.

I really don’t think she has implants…she’s always been a bit busty. Plus, she did just have a baby less than a month ago and is nursing, so…this is what happens! I do have to add to the makeup comments and say that she would look nicer toned down, granted, we haven’t seen much of her without this much makeup, but anything less..at least not that eye shadow up to her brows would be better!

why does everyone always complain about her makeup? what don’t ya’ll like, the red lips? sometimes, she can go overboard (ie. when she paints her eyebrows on soooo heavy, the blush soooo heavy), but i think she looks BEAUTIFUL here!!! she actually looks like she has a glow to her skin that’s more natural. her boobs are massive!!! the red lips are her “thing.” and gwen stefani. they’re bold people. why not?
i’ve seen christina without makeup, and she’s very pretty. she looks really young.

You shouldn’t have any problems nursing as long as the implant is placed under the muscle.

If you look at pictures of her from circa 2000 and older, she had rather small breasts, then bang they were huge (and oddly shaped) and stayed huge after she lost some weight. She definitely has implants.
She does look good, though I agree on the make up. I wonder when we’ll finally get to see Max (and Harlow).

Wow! She looks beautiful! I’ve never seen her look so pretty, nor so happy! To me, she always appeared to be sporting a mean face. But now, that beautiful smile is shining, she’s glowing, her hair looks great!!! You can tell she’s genuinely happy to be a mom. I didn’t think one could breastfeed with implants? But it’s clear that she’s lactating.

To the commenters who say they don’t think she has implants, do you not remember her ‘genie in a bottle’ days? it’s always been a known thing that she had implants, since before the assless leather chaps from her ‘dirty’ days!

It’s pretty common Hollywood knowledge that she has them. She got them in 2001 or 2002, between Genie and Stripped coming out. If you look closely, in some photos you can see the left one is a little ‘Tori Spelling-esque’ and a little lumpy/encapsulated. My brother works in music and it’s something she just keeps quiet, kind of like her pregnancy. She’ll tell you if you ask her, but she’s not going to announce it kind of thing.
You can definitely nurse with implants, you just have to make sure you tell your surgeon that you intend to breastfeed your children and that they need to preserve your milk ducts. There are ways to work around it. They put it under the muscle, and sometimes they don’t cut around your areola, they do it through the armpit or belly button.
My sister-in-law went from an A to a C about 3 years before her son was born, and ended up nursing him for 15 months. She had some supply issues at first and had to pump A LOT, but by month 3 everything worked itself out and they were able to nurse normally.
She looks wonderful. I for one like the red lipstick. I do not miss the massive, veiny boobs though! I always hated how mine had so many blue lines while I was nursing.

Anyone else notice the red marks on her left arm in the last pic? It also looks like there’s a tatoo right in the middle of it. I’m wondering if it has something to do with her IV site for her C-Section?? I had trouble with my IV sites after my births, so I wouldn’t doubt it.
Sarah’s note: That’s just part of her tattoo. It’s Jordan’s initials in Hebrew in black, with the words “Te Amo Siempre” in red.

She got the implants right before the Dirty album was released. She first displayed them when she was at the MTV awards and she presented an award with Eminem! They supposedly had called a truce!LOL She was wearing her hair almost white with long colored extensions. She also was wearing a Ceasar/Greek Goddess type of top. It wasn’t a big implant though. She just went from completely flat to maybe a large B. They just look bigger right now because she’s got the baby weight up there still. Why do people never want to accept that these people went under the knife? She’s recently had veneers put on her teeth too, as before her teeth were small, with a space in the middle.

Amazing!!! She looks absolutely fantastic… Her face looks totally ivory and I hate to sound so “canned” but she really is glowing. Hormones are definitely working for her

I don’t think anyone is in denial about whether or not she has hads implants, I for one can’t tell when she would have done it. If it were during her “Dirty” era, the change was definately more subtle than with some other people. I didn’t notice, maybe those chaps distracted me.

I never paid any attention to her boobs. I don’t have a clue what happened between her big break and the next album or whatever. I’m a metalhead, what do I know about the boobs in pop?

Wow, she looks great after just having had a baby. I wish I had looked half as good as that! As for breast feeding with implants, you definitely can without any problems. It can actually make your breasts look more supple afterwards.

I’m a little surprised that there would any editors note that refers the question of her breastfeeding with implants without addressing the fact that it’s just speculation that she even has them. Not very CBB like.

To me, she look like a pretty average mum (size wise) after giving birth less than a month ago. She, like most of us, is hiding her tummy with a loose top and visibly still has leftover bump. She looks normal and nowhere near too thin. The boobs look fantastic! I, myself would NEVER had put them on display like that while breastfeeding. I feel that it represents a time when my boobs are not a sexual thing but a very useful machine for my baby. That’s just me though.
I do have to agree that Xtina wears way too much make up, IMO it doesn’t suit her at all. I know her and Gwen are known for their ‘look’, but hey, they’ve been sporting the same look for so long, wouldn’t it be so much nicer to see them with a bit of a softer image?

I think the makeup just makes Christina feel good and if it makes her happy it makes me happy lol she looks wonderful! I love Christina, and that is an interesting point Marilyn about “not putting her chest on display while nursing” like that. I see what you’re saying and never thought about it like that. Just interesting. I feel stronger though with the opinion that it is distasteful and disrespectful of men who say perverted and sexy things regarding women who are expecting, therefore have even larger breasts then usual.
I remember when this issue came up from something posted by a picture of Salma Hayek and it made me angry.

I don’t think that she has implants. When I was breastfeeding my son I went from a “C” to a “DD”. If she does have implants, so what…don’t hate.
