Kate Hudson on Ryder’s hair and getting him into sports
As the Fool’s Gold press tour continues, Kate Hudson has more chances to talk about her son Ryder Russell, 4. Today, she covered one of CBB readers’ favorite topics — his hair! While appearing on Good Day LA, Jillian Barberie Reynolds asked Kate about the length of Ryder’s locks at the moment. Kate laughed and replied,
As a matter of fact, I think there’s a big cut about to happen. He finally, finally, wants to cut his hair, so I’m gonna to do it before it’s too late, before he changes his mind. But really, it’s hair. I mean c’mon, who does he need to impress?
On the Today show, Kate discussed the fact that her toddler has now turned into a pre-schooler.
He’s four years old so he’s starting to play sports you know. I’ve got him signed up for soccer and t-ball. I’m really excited about this phase.

WAS SHE SAYING SHE NEEDED HIS PERMISSION TO CUT HIS HAIR? THAT IS WHY KIDS TODAY GET AWAY WITH MURDER. IF SHE WANTED TO CUT HIS HAIR A LONG TIME AGO SHE SHOULD HAVE JUST CUT IT. I THINK SHE IS JUST USING HIM AS AN EXCUSE TO LEAVING IT LONG. NO, THE KID DOES NOT HAVE TO IMPRESS ANYONE, BUT HE LOOKS LIKE A GIRL. i love kate and matt together. i wonder why they never got together and dated. you know how sometimes people who look alike get married, well katie and matt kinda look alike! they look like they would be really a good coule

I do wonder if he changed his mind – this interview was from earlier in the week, and there were new pics of him yesterday with what looked like freshly cut hair, but just above his shoulders.
I totally get her about being excited about the age he is now. I can’t wait until my son is old enough to pick up a baseball bat and start playing!

Ok, CBB, I love your blog, I’ve been reading it for four years, and I’ve let something extremely petty go for so long that I just have to say something:
The little girl is four years old.
She is a four-year-old little girl.
It only gets the hyphens when it’s a modifier. And when it is a modifier, it goes between all three words. DON’T HATE ME FOR BEING SO RIDICULOUS PLEASE. I AM AN EDITOR, I CANNOT HELP IT!!
Since every post of yours very informatively gives us ages, this is something I see every day on the blog. I don’t care if you listen to me or not, I just had to get that off my anal little chest. Thank you

Natalie the whole kate and matthew thing amazes me, they have so much chemistry and really get along, I’m surprised their not a couple. Although in hollywood, there is always a chance they will hook up one day lol. She was on regis and kelly, and regis was joking about matthew being hot and kate was blushing and said yea meatthew is a beautiful spieces, and she even said she saw him nude on the set and he looked good lol. As for kate with ryder, she seems like such a sweet mom and I like how she handled her divorce with grace, and seems pretty much a hands on mom.
