Jennifer Lopez dishes on maternity fashion
Like many of our readers, Jennifer Lopez was clearly impressed by the Marchesa dress she wore yesterday to the designers’ Fall/Winter 2008 fashion show. Being so heavily pregnant — due to deliver twins, reportedly on Feb. 23 — Jennifer said that finding a frock that fits is becoming quite a challenge, especially since so many later-stage maternity gowns "make you look like you’re wearing a tent."
We found one that fit! [Marchesa] knew kind of how big I was. I was like, ‘I want to come to the presentation.’ She was like, ‘OK,’ and sends a dress over. For the size I am right now, I mean it’s just still kind of slim through the front — which is crazy! It’s very cute.
As for her impossibly high heels, Jennifer admitted that they were tough to pull off, telling US.
These shoes are hard to walk in — it doesn’t matter if you’re pregnant or not!
Jennifer’s husband Marc Anthony added that he’s looking forward to the twins arrival, telling the magazine "I’m excited to be a daddy [again]" and "What’s not to be excited about?" Marc is already a father to two sons — Cristian, 7, and Ryan, 4 ½ — with ex-wife Dayanara Torres, and a 13-year-old daughter, Arianna, with an ex-girlfriend. The twins will be the first children for Jennifer, 38.

I’m confused! Where does it say that she’s having the twins on February 23rd? I clicked on the highlighted text, which took me to the post where her father confirmed that it’s twins…But it didn’t say a thing about them being scheduled to be born on the 23rd?

There was once an article with Dayannara Torres where she reportedly said that Marc is an involved father and her boys call Jennifer “Mommy Jen” and she sings to them @ night and they seem to really love her as well, so it sounds like he is an involved father. His daughter appeared in the video for “Get Right” as well, so it sounds like Jennifer is an involved stepmom as well.

Yeah, he is very involved with his kids and from a pic that the paparazzi took one time, when they managed to photograph them, the kids look like they really love Jennifer. it was really cute.

Jennifer is very close to her stepdaughter I heard, and the boys she sings and reads to them. I’m so happy for marc and jennifer, to be having 2 babies. This just completes their family perfectly and they seem so happy.

I’ll admit, while at first the outfit seemed a bit tent-like, it’s actually cute and she looks good in it, deadly heels and all! But, I can’t remember a time where she photographed so pale looking! Top half is fine, but her legs seem extra pale… *shrugs*

I know it was previously said on a different post that there was a rumor the twins would be named Emme and Max. I just read on MSNBC though, that there is a rumor the names will be Anna Maria and Marc Ruiz.

legemc- Interesting! On the one hand, I would like the rumor to be true, as I love the name Anna. However, it seems strange to me that they’d name their son Marc, as I would think that Marc would have named his first son (Cristian) after him if he really wanted a son named after him. Then again, perhaps he did want to, but Dayanarra veotoed that idea.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see the babies!

To be honest I keep up with the Spanish news, and Marc and Jennifer are not really involved in his sons lives. That one picture that Jennifer took with the son, Marc had not seen his children in four months, and it upset Dayanara very much because she forbids her children to be photographed in public for safety reasons. She’s the mother and she doesn’t take pictures with them but for a photo op for herself, Jennifer went against her rules.

J.Lo Never mind those negetive people. You look good girl, Your surely working those shoes. I remember when I was pregnant I wore heels too, to make me look more elegant when I went out. Anyway God bless you and your family.

The outfit really isn’t that bad, even though it does make her look like a small blue tent. The colors go well together and do look great on her. The shoes on the other hand, look like a good cover up for police ankle bracelets!
