Jodie Sweetin: Daughter won’t be named after ‘fruits or electronic devices’
Full House actress Jodie Sweetin, 26, made an appearance at the Nicole Khristine Jewelry party at Social in Hollywood on Thursday — and brought along her big belly! Due April 6th with a daughter, Jodie laughed,
I’m ready to go! It’s a scary thing, but I’m kind of scared of how much bigger I’m going to get!
Jodie shares that she and husband Cody Herpin, 30, are still discussing names, but not to worry — it won’t be as unique as some of the monikers other celebrities chose.
We’re not naming her after any fruits or electronic devices oranything like that. She’s going to have a fairly normal name. We want something different, somethingcute and girly, but not too girly — a little funky.
For his part, Cody is every bit the doting dad-to-be.
He goesand gets me all my little cravings like my frozen chicken pot pies andhe cooks dinner for me and cleans up the house because I’m exhaustedall the time. I’m like, ‘I need a nap!’ He’s really good about that.
Jodie, who is two years clean of a crystal meth addiction that ultimately ended her first marriage, says she wants to insure that her daughter never follows down the same path.
I had to learn to just be comfortable in my own skin. So I hope she’ll learn that a little bit sooner. To just be yourself — that was probably the hardest thing for me that I didn’t learn until I was in my early twenties.

She’s just glowing, she looks great. I’m glad she was able to overcome her addiction issues and has a new life with Cody and the baby. I used to LOVE her on Full House.
Glad to hear the baby won’t have an odd name! Can’t wait to see the photoshoot you guys did and read the interview. It’s funny, it’s the people that the mainstream press don’t pay as much attention to anymore that I’m most interested in hearing about!

shes not big… shes just a normal pregnant girl that doesn’t care about looking thin instead about her baby getting what it needs!… im so excited to see her baby girl.. i cant wait till april haha, i grew up Loving full house and her character! and its nice to see younger women(she is my age) starting families and not out partying 24/7

Actually, for anyone she is fairly large. I come from a huge family with lots of pregnant women who never cared about weight gain as long as the baby was healthy, and I can tell you…she’s on the large end. Don’t assume that you know everything and that people who comment that she’s large just want her to be skinny.

She looks FABULOUS!!! My fiance’s sister was a little bit bigger than that and her baby girl (b 25/12/07) was only 6lb 1oz! How can that be?

I am by no means a thin woman, so when I saw this pic, I looked at old pics of me when I had 2 months to go. I was no where near as big as her. Even with a month to go, I was still not remotely that big. She looks like she’s ready to deliver to me. We’ll see!

Maybe she’s just going to be like Salma Hayek, Naomi Watts, Isla Fisher or Bridget Moynahan and get huge and stay there. Remember we all thought those ladies were due a month to two months before they actually had their babies?

Just because someone carries big, doesn’t mean their babies will be big. I have seen small ladies gain 25lbs and have 9lbs kids, my good friend had 3 kids, and she gained no more than 27lbs while pregnant, and she was skinny in general. Than you can see people like leah remini, milla, etc who gained 70lbs and their babies were 6lbs. I remember Ben Stiller’s wife was tiny she only gained 14lbs, and her baby boy was 9lbs. Doctors say 25-30lbs is the average weight women should gain while pregnant, to have a healthy size baby.

I get to meet Candace Cameron Bure on March 30, 2008 in West Virgina were she is speeking and I am gonna ask her if she knows if Jodie has picked a name for the baby yet if she says no I’m gonna ask her to call Jodie up and tell her that a fan would like to help with a name and I think it’s gonna
be a beautiful name it has a real ring to it if she does call Jodie I hope she and her husband will like it just a much as I do.

Im gonna agree with fallon, my son is 3 months old and I only gained 20lbs and he was 10lbs. 12oz. I guess it just depends on he woman

My good friend only gained 15 lbs while pregnant (she is EXTREMELY thin) and she had a 10lb baby. Different people just carry differently. I don’t think it’s very nice to comment on someones size. We would all be in tears if someone was commenting on us when pregnant. Also bad camera angles and just the camera itself can always make someone look bigger.
