Penny Lancaster and Alastair enjoy a day at the Farmer’s Market
Model Penny Lancaster, 36, and her son Alastair Wallace, 2, visit a Farmer’s Market in Beverly Hills, CA, today. The group, which included Penny’s mother, her mother-in-law and a nanny, took in a children’s show and took a ride on a trolley. Dad is singer Rod Stewart.
Photos by INF.
Alastair is wearing Crocs Kids in Purple ($25). It looks like he also has some jibbitz accessories for his crocs as well!
He is holding "Murdoch" from the Thomas the Train set ($16).

not to be difficult, but if both mothers are there, why not give the nanny the day off? i guess she is part of the family, ay?

Alastair is very cute. I love his train! My son carries his everywhere as well, only he likes Percy, the green one.

I thought the same thing as Ang. Unless the nanny just happens to also be a family friend who’s along for the day, then that’s different. Otherwise, it’s just unnecessary.

He looks like rod’s other kids

It could be that this was a day that the nanny would normally work but Rod and Penny’s mothers wanted to spend the day together and since they would be paying the nanny anyways (since most nannys have contracts) they just had her come along.

I have to disagree on your opinion on which train Alistair is carrying. It is Murdoch not Billy. Murdoch is a good Scottish engine!

I remember reading that Penny said she would not be using a nanny, as she felt all of Rod’s older kids were basically raised only by nannies. Guess she changed her mind.

He is such a little cutie, and he does resemble some of his siblings. There are many, I believe. Does anyone know how many children Rod actually has now. I know of Kim and the older 3, Rachel had 2 by him, right? And I think he has an older child from a very young age, when he was just starting out, doesn’t he, that is in her 40’s by now, I believe.
