Update: Laird Hamilton and Gabrielle Reece do photoshoot with Reece Viola and Brody Jo
Update: The photoshoot appears in Brody’s introduction in People this week. In the interview, Laird revealed Brody’s already gotten a taste of the ocean that he loves so much.
I put her legs in the water [at two weeks] and she got a wondrous look on her face. She didn’t freak out at all.
As for being the one male in a houseful of women, Laird jokes,
I always wanted to be surrounded by women. I just didn’t know I was going to be related to all of them!
Originally posted January 28th: Surfer Laird Hamilton, 43, volleyball star Gabrielle Reece, 38, and their daughters Reece Viola, 4, and Brody Jo, 4 weeks on Tuesday, posed for a photoshoot in Hawaii over the weekend.
The couple welcomed Brody on New Year’s Day — Gabby recently blogged about her post-partum experience thus far, and also spoke to Modern Mom. Laird also has daughter Izabella, 12, from his first marriage.

Gabrielle looks fantastic for having a baby this month! Wow! I know she has always been in shape, so I guess that helps. She looks incredible. Wasn’t there a post a while ago that mentioned her coming out with a pre or postnatal workout?

The photos are lovely! Viola’s gonna be a tall girl like her mama, with the long legs she has already! And I think that Brody takes after her dad. I really see some resemblance in the photo of her with Laird!

Oh, and I forgot to add that it’s no surprise that Gabby is snapping back to shape faster than a rubber band, not that she had much to reshape to begin with!

While it’s obvious that Gabrielle has a better post-partum body than most regular people have PRE baby;-), I must say it’s nice to see a ‘celebrity’ mom who doesn’t seem to be frantically trying to lose the weight and covering up in loose clothes until she has the perfect six pack, and if you look, you can see that her tummy is still not flat, SO GOOD FOR HER!! Finally, someone being real and not insisting on being skinnier than pre-birth 2 wks after the fact!

Reece is absolutely stunning…she’s gonna be something else when she’s fully grown. Laird better keep up the body building, cos I think he’s gonna need those muscles to thwart the boys that will be flocking after his daughter. The baby is cute. I always wonder though, why they never include Laird’s eldest daughter Izabella in their photo shoots. She is 11 or 12, I believe, and her Brazillian mother(Maria)was married to Laird and their daughter was a newborn when he met Gabby. Within a week he had left his family in Hawaii and moved in with Gabby in CA.

I don’t know if its the beach setting, or not, but this is one of the most beautiful family portraits that I’ve seen in a long time. Even the infant, which seems to be a newborn, is stunningly beautiful.

This is a question, not a comment I am putting it on here because there is no comment section on the one I am asking about…why do you put pictures of Woody Allen on this blog? It disgusts me. I can’t believe you would have this on here. And obviously alot of people agree or you would allow comments.Just wondering why you would put a man like that on here. (I wasn’t sure how to email you so I thought i would put it in the comment section knowing you would find it here.)
