WAHOOO what a way to cap off a weekend…with my oh so favorite family…I do so adore this family. Just on their normal routine–a little run to Starbucks on a Sunday afternoon and seriously–could Vi get any cuter? I just don’t think so…

And ang, I had the same reaction. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad one. It’s just that they’re rarely photographed as a family. That’s so funny how Violet and Ben are wearing identical frowns in the second pic!

The cap Ben is wearing is the South Sydney Rabbitohs which is the Australian Rugby League team that Russell Crowe co-owns.

I do love this fam. they are so regular, and down to earth, jeans and tee people. Just wondering when they are going to start letting Violet walk more, or at least see more pics of her on her own- She is 2 now, time to run and explore. Smile.

NIta- I’m guessing probably not any time soon. I think the main reason they carry Violet is for her own safety. If you watch videos of the Garner-Afflecks out and about, you’ll notice that Ben and Jen have to walk at quite a quick pace to escape the paps.
Being she is only two, there’s no way Violet could keep up. Also, toddlers are known for running off (case in point, the recent video of Gwen and Kingston out and about). That can be dangerous enough as it is, but with the paps around, it becomes even more dangerous. If I had paps chasing me all the time, I wouldn’t let my two year old walk either.

The little girl is quite darling. She’s like a burst of sun. Sheer delight. And Jennifer Gardner, photographs just as well, without a lot of makeup as she does, when she is all glammed up.
Ben looks very handsome and protective. Handsome family.

MyEyeIsOnYou: I agree. In some of the pictures (like the second one in this post) Violet looks really serious or even a little startled, and I have to wonder if it’s because the photographers are invading their space again.

Michelle- I don’t see a baby belly at all! She looks practically flat to me! Even if she DOES have a tiny bit of a belly, it is probably left-over Violet weight. Jen has stated (more than once, even), that, since having Violet, she always looks about two months pregnant.
She has also stated that she and Ben don’t plan to add to their family for awhile, because she wants to concentrate on work (speaking of which, she is also scheduled to shoot two movies pretty much back-to-back very soon, something I doubt she’d do if she were pregnant). Not only that, but last summer, she even said out-right that she was sick and tired of all the constant pregnancy rumors swirling around her. I highly doubt that those feelings have changed much (if at all), during the past year.

That “belly” is from the pockets of the hoodie she’s wearing. Everybody has a pocket-belly when they zip hoodies up. She is as thin as can be, prob weighs less than she did before Violet.
Ang, I *too* was shocked to see them out together. I was getting a little worried about them—still am, but this makes me feel a bit better. I would feel even better if they smiled together and maybe held hands or something. They always look so much more tense in each others presence. I hope they make it, because I really am a fan of this couple and of course, Violet.

Just saw those pictures Sarah — Thanks! They look WAY happier than they have in so long. The kissing picture is very cute and genuine-looking, not one of those staged photos other celebs do for good PR. Glad they seem solid. All couples go through stressful times, perhaps both of them were travelling too much. What a sweet family.
