Denied: Fergie and Josh Duhamel not expecting
Update: Both Fergie’s rep and her mother have denied the rumor to People. Her mom Terri says,
I think people can’t believe that people get married because they love each other and not because they’re pregnant. [She won't be pregnant] soon. I’d say a couple years. They’re newly engaged. Let them have a while to plan the wedding!
Originally posted 9 am: Rumors were swirling at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party that singer Fergie, whose real name is Stacy Ferguson, 32, and her fiance, actor Josh Duhamel, 35, are expecting their first child. One source revealed,
She picked up a wedding dress while she was in New York for Fashion Week and wants to move the wedding up so she is married before the bump becomes too obvious. At Clive’s, she just drank water.
The rumor initially began in mid-January.

If anyone watch the Grammy’s her bump was so obvious. She looks pregnant, when she sang with John Legend on Sunday night. Josh is gorgeous.

There was another mention of her poss. being pregnant at a party where Josh was given a pair of baby crocs and a statement of “for yours and Fergie’s baby” was made. HMMMM…… life imitating art if true, he is going to have a baby on Las Vegas with DeLinda!

My first comment as soon as I saw her perform at the Grammy’s was that she definitely would have a hard time denying any pregnancy rumors now! She looked great – definite pregnancy boobs, bump, and glow.

I thought I saw a little bump at the Grammys but then in subsequent shots I didn’t see it, so maybe it was just the angle she was standing. Also, when she was interviewed by ET she said she hadn’t really started wedding prep at all, that she was just beginning to look at magazines and hadn’t though about dress or date or anything. I guess time will tell!

Esmeralda I was totally sold when I saw those veins too! At first I was like, “Wow, I’ve never seen her belly look anything but flat before,” but I really don’t pay that much attention to her. And then I noticed the massive blue veins that were visible even above her cleavage and that was it for me. If she’s not pregnant, I’d be VERY surprised. And congratulations to her and Josh if she is. Awesome.

Yup she defintley looked pregnant at the grammy’s, so it looks like this rumor might be true. I’m so happy if it is true, I love both fergie and josh, their baby will be adorable.

I was watching the red carpet on Sunday and thought the same thing. She looked so beautiful in her dress, but when she turned I noticed something. Time will tell

I actually called it on New Year’s Eve, when she was performing. You could see it in her boobs and just the outfit she was wearing was hiding something. I know we’ll hear a confirmation soon, but I certainly don’t think she (or anyone) needs to confirm a pregnancy until they are ready, if ever.

i saw the grammy’s and that is the first thing i said. she is sooo pregnant. she is always working out, looking fit, BUT i saw the bump as well.

I agree with her moms statement. I got engaged in November and I am surprised but the amount of people (strangers mostly) that say “ooh, whens the baby due??” I know it is out of the ordinary these days but some people do actually marry for love not because they are knocked up.
As for Fergie, congrats on her engagement.

I just watched the interview and her sing with John Legend and I don’t think she is PG. I believe people are reading too much into it. I think the dress she wore while singing just pulled tight against her mid-section..

Why do they deny anyway? Just don’t comment. That way you and your people don’t look like liars when 2 months from now you’re out there with an undeniable baby belly!

I think the speculation of pregnancy for every entertainer with the slightest stomach bulge is getting ridiculous. Women, even famous ones, sometimes have a roundness to their stomachs why do we automatically assume pregnancy? Ever hear of water retention?

I agree Meghan. Eva Longoria had a large meal a little while back and people were all over it guessing baby sex and when she was due. Turns out she just had a large carb meal and had some bloat. She even admitted it.
I have large breasts and some large veins in them and I am not pregnant. I dont think she is yet.
I dont understand the people who get apparently upset when celebs deny their pregnancy rumors. Why do you care so much who denies them or not. They aren’t liars, they just aren’t telling us because it’s not our personal business to worry about.

I also agree with Meghan. I saw a photo of Fergie at the Grammy’s on People Magazine’s website, and I immeditely knew that “is she or isn’t she?” rumors would be starting.
That said, I believe her mom and her rep. For one thing, they BOTH denied it. Also, I honestly don’t think her mom would have said what she said if Fergie really was pregnant.
Anyway, I also don’t think Fergie looks pregnant. The dress she had on was extremely form-fitting, so even the slightest tummy bulge was going to show. If she really was pregnant, I doubt she’d have been wearing something so revealing. She’d probably have worn something loose to try to hide her bump (a la Gwen Stefani, and, if the rumors are true, Angelina Jolie).
She may have eaten a big meal, like Eva did, or she may have been suffering from that pesky “time of the month” bloat (and, if that is the case, that could also explain her larger than normal breasts). She also may simply not have a perfectly flat, washboard stomach.
