"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Christina Aguilera’s Mommy Makeover — Week 3: Clothes

MakeoverchristinaaguileraChristina Aguilera’s clothing has always been anything but boring. Even as a ‘Genie in a Bottle’ this Pop Princess swiveled her hips in midriff baring shirts that inspired millions of young girls to do the same. When she got down and ‘Dirrty’ we saw a rougher and edgier side to this trendsetter’s personal style. Slowly but surely she matured into a more adult look that suited her nicely. With ‘Back to Basics’ we saw her take on an old school, 1920’s Hollywood glam look that featured soft, romantic curls and bright red lips! Now that she’s a mom we’ve already seen her style morph again. This time we’re seeing plunging necklines and flowing dresses grace Christina’s petite frame.

While she was pregnant we adored her style. She dressed her bump in form-fitting shirts and leggings that showed off her motherly form. While we don’t expect her style to depart much from the norm, we do expect the new (little) man in her life to push her towards a more sophisticated look. And, we have some tips to get her from Playdate to Date Night with grace and of course, style!

Last week we suggested some accessories for this new mom, this week we’ll take a look at some clothing options that will complete her transformation to mom. Click continue reading below to see what we recommend for Christina’s new "look."

Playdate Pretty

Christina’s new cleavage-bearing wardrobe is giving everyone an eye-full, and she has no reason to be ashamed. We love how bold she is with her fashion statements, but just in case she wants to dress down a bit for little Max Liron’s playdates we have some ideas for her.

BravadonursingtankProducts like Bravado’s Essential Nursing Bra Tank (right, $45) serve two wonderful functions. First of all, it’s a very well designed tank that will help make nursing even easier with fold-down flaps. Second of all, it’s a great layering piece that adds a little extra coverage easily. While Christina is not known for covering up, she might just find that this tank gives her support and keeps her comfy as she transitions to mommy-society. It also has wonderful support built in to keep her comfy and her cleavage looking grand!

From the looks of her recent public appearances, Christina is slimmingdown to her old size pretty nicely. But we can’t help but notice thatshe’s preferring to play up her chest and is still going loose andflowing around the middle. She’s in the period referred to as the 4thTrimester — a time when you still can’t wear all your oldclothes as your body is still rebounding, yet you don’t need full panelmaternity clothes anymore. We recommend Ingrid & Isabelle’s BellaBand ($26) to help her feel more in control of her waistline. The BellaBand allows you to enjoy your pre-pregnancy wardrobe sooner by simply sliding the elastic band around your middle. It can help hold up pants that you can’t close anymore or smooth your middle in pants that create bulges.

EdhardytunicIn keeping with her edgy style tendencies, we know the Ed Hardy Multi Print Tunic (left, $128) will peak her interest. This long shirt hits at mid-thigh and features Swarvoski crystals on the front and back of it. And we think the geisha girl and skull design would look great on Christina. The best part about a tunic top is how it can elongate the torso, making everything look slimmer.

RichandskinnybellisimajeanLastly we think Christina’s going to need some new denim. Skinny jeans, a fave of hers, are on their way out, and on their way in are trouser-style pants. We think Rich & Skinny’s Bellissima Jeans (right, $161) nail this trend perfectly. The dark rinse is edgy and trendy and will make her legs look slender and long.

Date Night Diva

Date night with hubby, Jordan Bratman, will now be about celebrating their sense of self outside of Max and will be more important then ever. It’s important that couples maintain a sense of romance and continue to do things that they enjoyed doing before baby was here.

TheoryrucheddressDate night should be about dressing up and feeling sexy again. We think Theory’s Irvine Dress (left, $295) is a fab choice for Ms. Aguilera. The top will accentuate her voluptuous chest while the banded waist with ruched skirt will help hide her middle if she’s not feeling super-skinny. And of course, the dress is classically stylish and will add a look of sophistication to this momma’s fashion arsenal.

CrisscrosspatentleathersandalsWhat’s Christina without a pair of towering Christian Louboutins? The simplicity of the dress above lends itself towards a fun pair of heels, like these Crisscross Patent Cork Sandal (right, $795) from Christian Louboutin. The cork sole and patent leather straps are equal parts casual and fun.

Even the biggest stars sometimes need a little extra help in the stomach area, that’s what makes Spanx Hide & Sleek ($42) brilliant. It slims tummies with great high-waisted control. If you need a different type of support, check out the entire Spanx line, they come in several different variationsallowing you to control where you need.
