Rumor: Jennifer Jason Leigh and Noah Baumbach expecting first child?
Industry whispers are saying that Jennifer Jason Leigh, 46, and her husband, Noah Baumbach, 38 — writer/director of Margot at the Wedding and The Squid and the Whale — are expecting their first child.
Although Jennifer’s rep said she won’t comment on client’s personal lives, screenwriters were overheard at the Independent Spirit Awards discussing Jennifer dropping out of her latest film, Spread, because she is expecting. While no reason as been issued as to the cause of the film dropout, it was confirmed today that Anne Heche will be taking over Jennifer’s role.
Of course, when Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry dropped out of their latest films, a special announcement did soon follow!
Noah and Jennifer have been married for two years.

I hope she is, i love her. I didn’t realize she was 46 for some reason i thought she was in her 30’s. Wow time flies.

She still freaks me out from when I saw “Single, White, Female”… but if she’s having a baby she’s lucky at her age, hope it goes well.

I thought they had a baby a few years ago. Would this not be their second child or did she have a baby with somebody else/alone or am I hallucinating?
