"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Jessica Alba at Paris premiere of The Eye, blogs about trip

Actress Jessica Alba, 26, attends The Eye premiere at the Gaumont Marignan cinema on March 4th in Paris, France. Earlier today, she wrote on her MySpace,

Hey guys, I am now in Europe promoting to ‘The Eye.’ LAST TRIP!!! Went to the Lanvin show and the Rodin Museum in Paris … amazing … I am currently getting my makeup done to go to the premiere of my movie.

Can’t wait to get home and rest. Every day I have eaten ham and cheese sandwiches, I can’t get enough of them. Wish they had these back in the States; the bread is amazing. My tummy is getting bigger by the second and the little one must like the food too, because it is moving and kicking like crazy. IT’S THE BEST. Have to go, but just wanted to check in. JA

Jessica and fiancé Cash Warren expect their first child in late May.

and that bump is definitely growing! :)

  2. NailCandy Says:

    SHE LOOKS GREAT!!!

  3. Tara Says:

    She is so stunning.

  4. Brooke Says:

I love how she is cryptic with the sex. She knows, but she is not going to give it up!!

  5. Jen Says:

Jessica looks awesome…but I don’t know about in the US but here in Australia we are told to never eat cold meats, like ham, whilst pregnant, that was the first thing the Doctor said to me when I fell pregnant with my daughter “No cold meats and no soft cheeses”

  6. kaylee Says:

She looks FAB, her bump is so neat and small. Wishing her a happy labor and delivery!

  7. Amelia Says:

Jen, I’m from the US and I’ve heard the same thing. I’m studying to become a nurse and I learned that pregnant women should definitely stay away from cold meats. My SIL is also pregnant and that was the first thing her doctor told her to stay away from- and she has been desperately craving sandwiches throughout her pregnancy!!

    Has anyone else heard otherwise?

  8. coffeygirlb Says:

Goodness, she really does look amazing. And I love the fact that they are keeping the sex a secret. You have so little privacy in Hollywood, I say let them have that as long as they can!

  9. chicki Says:

She is SO right about the jambon gruyere sandwiches in Paris – you will never find bread or cheese that good here in the US!!! I ate those every day when I lived there for a year during college. Ah, the memories make my eyes water…

  10. iluvallbabies Says:

Jen I was thinking the same thing (without trying to be critical and over the top paranoid-LOL!!).

Im also from Australia and my close friend has just fallen pregnant, and it was one of the first things mentioned by her doctor to avoid.

  11. KL Says:

I was told not to eat the sandwich meat unless you warm it up in the microwave. It’s b/c cold cuts + soft cheese can carry listeriosis (sp?). It’s a bacteria that can harm the fetus.

  12. iluvallbabies Says:

Copied and pasted from Health and Pregnancy website of what NOT to eat:

“All Deli meats (including hot dogs) – these deli meats might be contaminated with listeria bacteria which may result in miscarriage or even a stillbirth. It’s safe to eat deli meats if you reheat them until steaming hot.”

  13. Jillian Says:

Jessica looks great!!! She sounds so excited about her new baby…

I hadn’t heard about the sandwich meat thing, but then again I haven’t yet been pregnant… Just curious though, would a grilled ham and cheese sandwich be okay to eat? If so, I shouldn’t have to worry when I do have kids because I love grilled sandwiches!!!

  14. Kristen Says:

Something to keep in mind about the meats, before we start thinking that Jessica is endangering the baby…she could very well be talking about croques monsieur, which are HOT ham and cheese sandwiches served in pretty much every sandwich shop in Paris. They’re definitely steaming hot (like a grilled ham and cheese but with more cheese on top, yum), so that would probably eliminate the risk of contracting listeriosis. Hope that helps!

  15. Chris Says:

I really like this dress on her. I’ve seen her in a few that weren’t so flattering but I really love this one on her. She’s looking great.

  16. iluvallbabies Says:

Kristen I was thinking I should have said that- I didnt want to start any negative posts :) Thanks for bringing it up.

BTW I just LOVE her dress….she looks so pretty in it. Although what doesn’t she look good in ?! LOL.

  17. morgan Says:

Um Jessica, Ham and Cheese sandwiches ARE available here in the states…hehe.

Sarah’s note: It’s not like in France though. SO GOOD. I still dream about the cheese and croissants in Paris and I haven’t been there in 5 years!

  18. Max'sMom Says:

She looks stunning & her bump is growing by the minute!
I say a beautiful baby Girl for Jessica & Cash.

  19. Born Fab Says:

Wow! She’s that pregnant???? How many months is she???

    Sarah’s note: 7.

  20. Aya Says:

I don’t know what you guys think, but her sandwich doesn’t look toasted or heated to me at all –>

She’ll have a healthy baby though. There are pregnant people who have done much worse and have healthy babies, and I am sure that they are seeing her doc regularly.

Im just curious, I’ve visited her so called “official” myspace..It’s pretty fishy. Has there been any actual confirmation that it is her, rather than some co-inky dink information ? She always seems like she hates the attention, or maybe its just an act. There are a lot of people who fake being celebs on those sites (myspace, facebook). It is super easy to see a bunch of photos of her out and about and make up some blog about what she did with pieces of info from interviews and such.

  21. dlock Says:

Well I am 9wks pregnant and when I went to my doctor she gave me a list of things that were safe to eat n things to stay away from. And correction, you are not supposed to eat smoked meat, like smoked ham, turkey, etc. or soft cheeses, because it is not fully cooked. And I have been eating turkey breast footlongs from subway like crazy. So, I’m not saying anyone is wrong or right, but I think Jessica is taking every precaution possible while she is pregnant.
By the way, she looks great! :)

  22. chrizine Says:

don’t worry about the cheese and ham in france : there’s two sort of, the first one with uncooked ham (not good during pregnency) but she talked about the second one, with cooked ham… and this sort of sandwich is amazing because of the bread (baguette) and the butter. come and see, all !

(and by the way, it’s not gaumant, it’s gaumont marignan)

  23. Meaghan Says:

Her myspace looks incredibly fake and has no personal pictures of herself only press ones. I could have made it in about 5 minutes.
