I mean absolutely no disrespect by asking this question, but I wanted to know if they are legally married, since I thought gay marriage is illegal in the US and civil unions were only recognized in very few places.
Do they use the term wife because of how they feel or is there something “legitimate” or legally recognized about the word in this case?
Sarah’s note: No, they aren’t legally married. However, they held a wedding and had a commitment ceremony, and since they refer to each other that way, so do we.
Gay marriage is actually not illegal in all of the US; Massachusetts does allow for it. NH (my state), Vermont, Connecticut and New Jersey all offer civil unions or domestic partnerships legally.

its not ok to star stalk people with their children! it is very wrong and just plain rude to take photos of other peoples kids and then take it a step futher and post them on the net…her music is for sale!!!! not her private life and family! common people would call the police if they saw a man taking pictures of their kids! they need to change laws to protect people from this type of thing….for god sakes let them have a private life and their kids a childhood!!!
