Update: Country singer Darryl Worley to become a dad
Update: They will be naming their daughter Savannah Gail.
Update January 13th: Country Weekly is reporting that the new baby will be a girl.
Originally posted January 9th: Country singer Darryl Worley, 43, and his wife Kimberly are expecting their first child. In a recent e-mail to members of his fan club, Darryl wrote,
I’ve got some great news that I am especially proud to share with you guys. I wanted you to be the first to know, but I accidentally let the news slip on my recent Opry performance because I was overcome with emotion — Kimberly and I are going to be parents!
We are so excited, and ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we begin this new and exciting chapter of our lives. I’ll keep you posted on Kimberly’s progress and let you know when our blessed bundle of joy arrives.

Aw. I love Darryl and his music. Congratulations to him and Kimberly!
Something must be in the water in music city – Joe Don, Luke, Keith, now Darryl are going to be dads.

I love that name!! Derryl is an awesome singer. Im sure he’ll be singing tons of lullabies to Savannah.
