Tori Spelling is out promoting her new book and showing off her bumpstyle as well. Much like her last pregnancy where we saw Tori in lotsof blue (even her shower was blue themed to welcome little boy Liam Aaron)this time around she has “bumped “ herself up to a new level ofsophistication. The color of this dress is rich and inviting, and sheabsolutely glows in this flattering hue. What I adore most about thislook is the sheer simplicity of it. Her best trick –- choosing a piecewith a little extra bling built in. Gwen Stefani went the same routewith her African inspired dress at the Gucci UNICEF benefit, as did JessicaAlba at the Oscars. Ideally set near the face – details andembellishments will naturally shift the eye upward -– keeping the focuson the shoulders, neck and face.

Here’s What to Keep in Mind When Stealing Tori Spelling’s Appealing Accents Look Forty Weeks Style:

*Details set the tone of the look.  Make sure the balance of accessories (including hair) match the statement of the embellished piece.
*Metallics are great this season. Be sure to find the right match for your completion. Many find bronzes to be universally flattering — I consider silver to be the most challenging of the metal tones.
*Less is more! Once you choose an item with a key accent make that your focal point. This is all you need –- keep it simple.
*Layer it up. Choose an accented under-layer (think lace trimmed tank) to create a cool look for day or night. I love this also as an easy way to easily alter the mood of a look.
*Get the color right. Seek out flattering color first -– avoid any hue that fights with your natural coloring.
*Wear with care. Lace, embroidered or sequined trim and other embellishments are a bit fragile. Take special care when wearing and washing these special garments.

Steal That Look Forty Weeks Style –- Appealing Accents

MimimaternitysilkblouselaceSilk Blouse with Lace by Mimi Maternity (right, $30) features sleeveless, body hugging style with lace chiffon detailing along the V-neckline.  The adjustable straps offer some support, though this one might work best with a foundation layer underneath. Pair with a slim fitting bottom and a wrap for a dinner with friends.

EberyjeycamiMade to fit your ever-changing form the Prima Ballerina Cami by Eberjey (left, $68) is soft, sexy and sure to add a little "wow" to any layered look. I am a long-time fan of Eberjey’s fit and super soft fabrics. Choose from black, ivory or blue in this flattering empire waist cami. The antique tea stain lace trim at the neckline is just the perfect peek-a-boo accent.

MichaelstarsmaternitycamiI love the flattering neck-line on this Michael Stars Maternity Lace Tank in Peach at Due Maternity (right, $55). The sleeveless cotton is cool for the warm days ahead. But really what I fell for with this tank were the infinite possibilities of this one piece. Ample straps mean plenty of room for the right bra for ideal support. Layer over or under to master any imaginable look while keeping the flirty lace the accent of choice. (Save 15% with coupon code "CBB")

ImaternityyellowsocialdressThis dress has a lot of mood and attitude for not a lot of money. The iMaternity Light Yellow Sleeveless Social Dress (left, $40) is made of light yellow chiffon and is brought to life by the sequin detail around the neck. Simple and a cinch to stun in!

CadeauembroideredtopAnother way to go is with a casual, yet sophisticated accent. The Cotton Embroidered Baby Doll Top by Cadeau (right, $84) brings drama and flair in all the right ways! The fully-lined (great!) cotton tank is made memorable by its wide knit lace collar and trim. I like this to pair with denim and a great shoe for night.
