Noah Wyle and family out in Malibu on Sunday
Actor Noah Wyle, 36, his makeup artist wife Tracy Warbin, and their kids Owen Strausser, 5, and Auden, 2, were snapped out for a walk on Sunday in Malibu, CA.

Cute kids…but is she not using that sling right? That looks a little odd.
Sarah’s note: Sometimes they suggest adjusting the part under Auden’s butt — pull it up her back and down to her knees to make more of a seat. That may be better for some people. Shoulder positioning is great!

I used the same sling. It is actually more comfortable for her to have it the way she does. I found as my daughter got heavier 2-3 years. When I spread the material out her butt sagged in and it was uncomfortable for my daughter and me. I wore it the EXACT same way and had a tighter hold.
It may look funny but it really does work better with the added weight of a 2-3 year old.

I have a similar sling and that’s how i wore it with older kids (when I was a nanny). any other way it became too awkward and I could really feel the weight of the kid pulling me down; the way Tracy is wearing Auden is definitely more comfortable and spreads the weight out across the body.

Hey Sarah,
No I do not think it was because of the silk as I had a rock star mama one too and it was all cotton. They are fine up until about 20 pounds or so like 1.5-2 years and then it gets hard to hold them when their butt kind of hammocks in. They seem to feel heavier. As well when they are tighter like that there legs go straight there is no bending at the knee which makes it hard to hold.
Sarah’s note: I’ve only used Zolos (as far as ring slings) and I switched to an Ergo at 2, so I have no experience with bigger kids. It’s always interesting to hear what other people do.

I LOVE Auden’s little princess crown!
Gorgeous sling too. We have a rockin baby we liked, but we use the Ergo pretty much full time now too. My son is 19 months.

I love how adults act nonchalant around the paps, but the little children (such as Auden), stare STRAIGHT at the camera! So cute! I’ve seen pics of Zahara and Shiloh doing this exact thing when others pretend not to notice the cameras…the curiosity of little children!
I may have to invest in one of those slings; my two youngest daughters are still small and no problem to carry, but my oldest just turned three and still loves to be carried…so a little weight assistance may be helpful!

My gosh, those kids get cuter and cuter everytime I see new pics of them! Auden is looking more and more like Noah, and how sweet is she in her crown?!? My 4yo Olivia LOVES Dr. Carter (we watch the reruns everyday), and she loves Auden’s crown. LOL! Owen is just the cutest thing ever, but of course, look at that gorgeous Daddy!
