Houston Rockets player Shane Battier to be a first time dad
Houston Rockets forward Shane Battier, 29, and his wife Heidi are currently expecting their first child on June 9th. The former Duke University player is excited about the upcoming birth and the fact that it may require him to take it easy.
Having a baby will slow things down and allow me to enjoy life a little more.
Shane and Heidi have been married since July of 2004.

We love and miss Shane in Memphis. Congrats to them! I’m sure that baby will be gorgeous!
And, Janice, I think Heidi must be standing on something in that picture. She’s not nearly as tall as Shane.
