A is for Art: A cure for the common print

You put so much thought into your child’s nursery. The perfect crib, the right shade of paint for the walls, beautiful crib bedding…. Shouldn’t you also select some cool artwork too? A is for Art makes original adorable prints on canvas, as well as murals, rugs and even custom artwork for your child’s nursery. 

I liked A is for Art’s prints because they were whimsical and creative. The company believes that "art for children can be sophisticated, fun and original" and the "sophisticated and silly sit side-by-side with the endearing and extraordinary." Children will definitely not outgrow this art. It will take them from infant hood to the preteen years.

We were sent the darling Ballerina Pigs($130) by Lisa Williams on a 8" x 39" canvas. It fit in perfectly withmy husband’s and my quirky sense of humor. We also loved the rest ofthe series. Check out Pigs Swinging on Chandeliers, and Pigs in Clouds (pictured above). You can even personalize one of Lisa Williams’ Polka Dogs prints with your child’s name and favorite color.

I also liked many other prints. Check out Jonathan Blum’s Ostrich Family Picnic ($100- pictured to the left), Still Life with Dogs ($130), and King and Queen (at the Brooklyn Bridge) ($130). The prints were funny and the colors so vibrant. You could go for the more serious (and just as beautiful), check out the endangered animals collection by Stacey Wyman Posnett.   

How do these prints look so good? A is for Art uses Giclée prints on canvas. The quality of the print was great. According to the company,
