"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Tags: Aussie, Births, Dads

Australian football player Tony Modra, 39, and his wife Erica welcomed first child, daughter Hayley May Modra, on Tuesday, March 18th at 12:45 am.  She weighed 6 lbs, 12 oz.  Little Hayley is the spitting of her father, reports Max Stevens, Tony’s friend and former manager.

Erica says she can hardly believe she’s the mother, Hayley looks so much like her father.

Max also revealed that,

Erica’s waters broke on Sunday morning, but she didn’t give birth until Tuesday.

Is it their third or first child? It’s a little confusing….

i cant imagine what doctor would let a woman deliver a baby 48 hours or so AFTER the water broke. the baby is healthy so i am assuming that they knew just what they were doing. it just doesnt seem to be something that would be a common thing. anyone else think thats weird? i have had 2 cesereans so what do i know! :o )

I definitely think are special factors that go into that. I was always of the assumption that if your water broke you had a certain amount of time before the doctors would go in and do an emergency c-section.

My sister’s best friend had her water break on a Thursday night. She called the doctor, but since her contractions hadn’t started, she was told to stay home. She went in the next morning for her regular appointment. They checked her fluid levels and saw that while her water had broken, she still had plenty of amniotic fluid to keep her baby safe. It was almost 2 days later before her contractions started. She was in the hospital for another 20 hours before her son was born.

FYI Tony’s actually an Australian Football League (AFL) player, not soccer.
